nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 09:25

wooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooo!!!

mb is on its way dis, i don't believe it! congratulations.

i tried tate on buggyboard and it just wasn't as good a push or ride for him as the nipper, theres not good me having a pram like an xt that i can't one-hand-push so its a goner. its all in original packaging so i can sell it bnib.

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 09:26

Woooooooohooooooooooooooo

thankyouuuuuuu

Woohoo Dis

Will you keep the quest then nicola?

mamadiva · 29/04/2009 09:47

Yeay Dis!

Should be getting it soon then...

I would have thought the buggy board would've been horrible to push with the XT anyway because the frame is flimsier than chunky 3 wheeler.

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 10:02

Tomorrow hopefully!!

Can I ask you ladies a question about the bugaboo bee? My dd is 9 months old and is currently in the boring but good Maclaren Techno. I really would like her to be facing me now she's a bit heavy for me to carry her in the sling and the bee looks good, but nowhere near me stocks them. I am hovering over the 'Buy' button on the John Lewis website but my only worry is that the seat unit does look very small. Is that really the case? I don't want to spend all that money if she will outgrow it quickly. I need something that will fit in our small hallway and on the bus and train, so any other small rearfacing options would be great

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 10:37

Hiya,

if shes 9 months old I wouldn't worry, It is a small seat compared to say the mountain buggy but my DS who is 3 and tall has been to the shop in it, so he does still fit, I wouldn't buy one for say a 2 yr old but at 9 months you will get lots of wear out of it and they have a very good resale value so when she does grow out of it at 2.5 - 3 yrs Id say you will get enough back to but a nice stroller if she needs one still and have some over

nicecupofchar · 29/04/2009 10:43

Thanks
Do you have one then? Do you like it overall? The sensible side of me is telling me to stick with the Mac but I really do wish I could push her while she was facing me, she really doesn't seem to like being forward facing. And the bee is so pretty

pebbles79 · 29/04/2009 10:48

You can get the Bee from the Glasgow Pram Centre for £340 online.

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 10:50

Yes I have one and I love it (search my bee threads, lol)
I honestly do and Ive had ALOT of buggies and it beats them all hands down.

I'll never get rid, I put a swap on the forsale board for a single MB but thats just for show for DH ... as Im looking to buy a MB so im trying to get him to say 'don't swap the bee'

cause he loves it too

OP posts:
nicecupofchar · 29/04/2009 10:56

Ooo I've not heard of Glasgow Pram Centre. Are they good? I was leaning towards John Lewis just because I know their aftercare is briliant. Anyone ordered from the Glasgow place before?

horsemadgal · 29/04/2009 11:09

I've only bought in store at Glasgow Pram Centre but they are very good.
You can pay the items up also.

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/04/2009 11:20

Woo hoo on the MB collection!

nicecupofchar if you get rid of techno can have first dibs?

Glasgow pram centre are really nice and helpful. I would ring and ask about aftersales cover. Their website was useless but I rang and paid for stuff over the phone.

Nicola I can't understand why your not liking the buggyboard on xt. Mine was great on it-very sturdy, easy to push. I am a bit taller though, maybe thats the difference.

pebbles79 · 29/04/2009 11:20

I've only ever heard good things about the Glasgow Pram Centre.

nicolamumof3 · 29/04/2009 11:26

maybe its just sooooo much nicer on nipper. so much so, not kicking it all time. it would do my head in on techno and i'd end up not using it and selling for massive loss so im being sensible really and selling now while i can at either a profit or get my money back.

Disenchanted3 · 29/04/2009 11:27

nicola be IS a keeper see above posts, just using tactics on DH lol

FlyMeToDunoon · 29/04/2009 11:29
