and hold the baby cuddled up next you, not with legs dangling like usual slings, what are they called?

saw a few being used at NCT sale, and they looked lovely.

Wilkinet Baby Carrier Are deffo brill

we have one that we used for DS and DH used it

weird looking when you take out box but once you get the hang of it

deffo brill

RTKangaMummy · 25/04/2005 21:02

Also the other thing I like about

Wilkinet Baby Carrier is that the baby's head and shoulders are not hanging away from parents body

but are very snuggly

Also can then go under a coat with their head popping out the top

misdee · 25/04/2005 21:03

is it possible to breastfeed when using a wilkinet? am tempted by the ring sling ones. but oh the choices.

the ellaroo looks too complex for me

RTKangaMummy · 25/04/2005 21:15

I don't know because DH used it more often than me and he couldn't breastfeed

hub2dee · 25/04/2005 21:33

Did he not try hard enough Kanga ?

PS - Hope you know I'm thinking of you. Haven't posted, no eloquent words.

Hiya misdee ! (and thanks for putting me in your list of loonies to meet) - I had a sling thread with some really good input here you may want to scan.

Do post with any conclusions / tests etc. Cod had a Wilkinet that she didn't seem too fond of.

Hope your spirits are still up and that you get your call soon.

misdee · 25/04/2005 21:35

I might meet up with bubble99 in a couple of weeks, she is hoping to host an open day at the nursery and it is situated near somewhere I like to go plant shopping.

RTKangaMummy · 25/04/2005 21:59

Can't find details of your thread on your DH misdee

Hope you get him home soon

Misdee could it be a hug-a-bub ? they are absolutely fab... I sell them too as I find they are the most comfortable wraps... and you can BF with it.

misdee · 25/04/2005 22:06

that looks like it might be it. but the babies werte newborn and no legs dangling, can it be worn like that?

OP posts:
hub2dee · 25/04/2005 22:11

Kanga, you can't be more shy than a bloke in a field with 30,000 women.

pupuce · 25/04/2005 22:11

Newborns don't dangle as you can have their legs held by the pocket.
You can carry babies until they are well over 2 yo in that sling as there is no real extra weight.
