Flyme - I have a 4yo, 3yo and 8 month old. 4yo hasn't been in a buggy for a long while probably as she has had to walk with the other two being in it.

We are going to centerparcs in May and am thinking of taking the XT, buggyboard and sling then if they get too tired we can carry tehm all IYSWIM.

Difficult one bit of a nightmare to carry a buggy if they aren't going to go in it a lot but if they get tired can you cope with the whinging? In my case DD2 would happily sit in a buggy and be pushed around whereas DD2 wants to walk all the time hence me getting rid of the P&T

nicolamumof3 · 03/04/2009 17:37

i wouldn't i really don't need one now much for tate, does she fit in it? depends how much walking you plan to do??

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/04/2009 17:42

My 2year old wants to walk but the 4 year old is a lazy lump and often asks for a sit on the front of the MB.

sweetkitty · 03/04/2009 18:26

Some silly woman bought my Micralite Toro sun and bug shield for £20 (I accepted a best offer on it) She took over a week to pay for it despite me chasing her several times. Anyway she received it today and I get the following email:

Hi there
Thank you for the quick delivery
I have made a terrible mistake - I thought this was for the Micralite fastfold - not the toro - so when I recieved this - it is absolutely no use to me - would it be possible to send this back and get a refund?

I said:

I'm really sorry that it is not what you were expecting but the listing clearly stated that it was for the Toro and also pictured the Toro. I also do not accept returns and the listing clearly states this so I'm afraid that I cannot offer you a refund. If I was to give a refund I would be left incredibly out of pocket with regards to ebay and paypal fees and also for the postage. As I listed the item correctly I don't see how it would be fair for me to be out of pocket because you made a mistake! Perhaps you could relist it yourself to get your money back?

So she said that she would pay my fees as they could only be about £2 - I reply saying no, I don't accept returns and by the way the fees came to over £7 to which she has replied that she feels she is getting nowhere with me and that she will sell it on without the huge expense that it cost me!

Cheeky cah! I hope she knows of somewhere other than ebay then as £7 is what it cost me what with listing fees, paypal fees, final value fees, postage fees etc....

I'm just waiting for my very first negative now despite having over 800 feedback 100% positive

Disenchantegg3 · 03/04/2009 20:44

Silly woman, am Grrrrr for you hopi!

Why can't people read discriptions??

carrielou2007 · 03/04/2009 21:14

If it sold for 20 how on earth did it cost you 7 pounds in fees? 40p to list, FVF of under 2 and pp fees? I sold a buggy for 70 pounds - paid about 7 pounds in fees??

If you have 100% though it won't affect you, just leave a factual (don't call her a twit or anything!!) reply if she does neg you so people can see she just didn't read listing.

I had this once, a changing bag listed which colour, model and colour it went with etc and someone bought it and said it didn't match their buggy. Um, not my problem, listing was clear enough, never heard anyting back..

nicolamumof3 · 03/04/2009 21:19

i must agree with carrie how come your fees are soo high hopi?

v.annoying tho, she should have read listing properly!!

5intheEgg · 03/04/2009 21:23

I missed the bloody courier today so no new XT, and I can't get to the depot to colect it tomorrow either, dh is at work! What do I do? Its the 2nd time they have tried to deliver. Will they send back to kiddicare if I can't collect, or will they charge me for delivery? I only dropped DS1 off at school and was back for half 9. When they tried to deliver Tuesday they didn't come til afternoon.

And to top it all off, I've got the chicco getting collected on Monday so will be (gulp) pramless with a baby and ds2 who has ASD (double gulp). I can always stick ds2 in his major and sling Ds3, but he is a mini sumo and kills my back (bsad)

Hopi · 03/04/2009 21:34

Dunno why they are so high - the following is taken directly from my invoice and paypal etc... 40p listing fee, £1.98 FVF, £1.57 paypal fees, £3.17 to post first class recorded. I make that £7.12 not to mention the cost of the envelope, the petrol and the parking fee...she did pay over a week later than everyone else with no apology or explination so I had to take her package seperate to the others...

I guess I'm just miffed that she had the audacity to ask for a refund from me when it was her fault not mine! And even if I did accept refunds then I certainly wouldn't expect to be out of pocket because someone else had made a mistake so for her to expect to pay me £2 fees is a bit cheeky IMO.

I'm actually a bit shocked that the fees total so much too! I think I'll be sticking to selling on places like this in future, ebay is just getting too expensive for likkle sellers like me I dread to think how much I've paid in fees for the actual Toro which sold for £240....

sweetkitty · 03/04/2009 22:03

Hopi - what a nightmare, some people though

5intheegg - for you too missing the courier
