Hey Ladies,

Just thought I'd start a new thread since we are into a new month hope no one beat me too it

How is everyone?

Its been in the car all week so been using micralite. Still thinking of a rf. Missed out on a black infinity BIN £80. Had sent a question about the foam handle, and sold before replied. Damn!

Any joy getting an XT?

nicolamumof3 · 17/04/2009 21:45

not yet sweetie, i quite fancy the one on ebay as its cheap but seller seems a bit 'intense' not sure. can get one from smyths for 109.99 like dis got, from lady over in ireland so just got to pay for parcelforce. i think thats what i'll do but would have to sell quest to get it and LOVE my quest can't bloody decide what to do!!!!

SuziSeis · 17/04/2009 21:54

Hello all i am an old timer with a name change ds is 9 months (just) and i have 5 others

wait till you hear....

spitfire arrived pristine 12.30 pm and i ruined the handle at 1.30

not tried glueing it yet .... might ring maclaren

apart from me trashing it its lovely and ds looks ridiculously cute in it!

nicolamumof3 · 17/04/2009 22:04

oh shame! did you buy it from maclaren?

SuziSeis · 17/04/2009 22:06

nope!!!!!

bought it from a shop grrr

i am such a poo head

pebbles79 · 17/04/2009 22:17

Could you not say it arrived like that, got damaged in transit or something?

BexieID · 17/04/2009 22:26

Yes, say it was damaged when you got it out of the box.

andirobo · 17/04/2009 22:33

Carrielou - are you about - I have emailed you about Quest!!

nicolamumof3 · 17/04/2009 23:10

so i think i need to forget about the xt!

lady on ebay re-listed techno for me..then before i could buy it someone else did! A mnetter too! lol.

buggyjo mailed me bout her techno all set to arrange a friend to collet but she has now decided to keep and get the spare parts.

three people all wanted my quest yesterday but not heard a dicky bird all day from any of them.

therefore i think im destined to keep quest after all...don't you?

bye, bye xt!!! (for now!)

sweetkitty · 17/04/2009 23:30

suzi - about your spitfire that's like something I would do though

nicola - I will put money on you having another XT by the end of the week

SuziSeis · 17/04/2009 23:32

sk it is SO me!!!! grr

anyway dp has glued flap down barely noticable

i will ring maclaren and ask advice!!! Such a pain but hey ho trying to have perspective

still very nice though!

sweetkitty · 17/04/2009 23:35

Suzi - really is something I would do too, the etiquette of this shed is you have to post pics of gorgeous LO in new pram for us all to ogle

SuziSeis · 17/04/2009 23:47

SK some of us are just 'that sort' of person!! but

I see about pics !!! I will take some

He is the most ridiculous looking child and his hair as my friend commented when she saw him for the first time in months - has a hue of pink!! ( seriously!)

he looks even odder against the pea green

pleased with it though which is a risk as i bought it not having seen in flesh

You get liner ( reversible) and then separate buggy snuggle with zip off top so in effect fleece liner

the metal also has a funny pinky hue ( sounds odd!) i do like it

mac buggies can be so 'grey' and i have had two before - great but dull for boys and this is nice and bright!

Hiya HedgeWitch, welcome to the shed!

How much would you be selling your Mirage for? Would be interested providing it's not pink, lol. I might be needing a buggy suitable from birth to have at my mums. I wonder if I could put my Graco car seat from my Quattro travel system on it? Would be rather handy!

nicolamumof3 · 18/04/2009 08:19

morning all!

Welcome Hedgewitch i am a fellow maclaren addict so you are more than welcome here (had six this year alone!)

5inthebed · 18/04/2009 10:55

Speaking of pictures, here is Sumo in the micralite. He is very snug in it, don't you think?

Bexie, did you do a test yesterday?

nicolamumof3 · 18/04/2009 11:27

no way Mel, how old is he again??! he looks gorgeous but he's growing up toooooo fast! he looks so squeezable lol!

5inthebed · 18/04/2009 14:00

He is 5 months next week Nicola. He is massssiiiiveee. In 6-9 month old clothes already!

nicolamumof3 · 18/04/2009 14:12

i can't believe it he easily looks 8/9months!!! bless him, he's gorgeous x

mamadiva · 18/04/2009 14:29

Hi all,

Bexie you are having a time of it right now are'nt you , chin up and get peein girl

Carrie have PP you thank Yoooooooo

Nicola why not sell your Quest on here and buy XT? Does it have to be the newer one?

Pebbles about BJCM sure you will get one eventually!!!

5in he is gorgeous! I would've thought he was about 9 months!

Hedgewitch Helllooo have not seen you about in AGES! Not since you became pregnant hedgewitch LOL, what did you have actually? I am not up to date with these things

Suzi I think you can buy replacement foamy bits for handles!

OP posts:
pebbles79 · 18/04/2009 14:36

5in he's soooo gorgeous! He does look big though, the exact opposite of my DD, she's 15 months and only just gone into 6-9 months clothes!

nicolamumof3 · 18/04/2009 14:44

my first two were small and luka was a big baby i love having him all chunky! he's now about average size, he's only one size behind tate in clothes which is handy as they get passed straight down, without packing away!

Mama, i have 'sold' the quest on here, but heard nothing from the mnetter who wants it? so not really sure where i stand.

i want an 08 one, which i will probably get from smyths like disenchanted did for £109.99. must check stock actually!!

5inthebed · 18/04/2009 15:09

Thanks ladies All my Ds's are tall, their dad is 6'4'' so they get it from him. DS1 is 6 next month, but alreay in 7-8 clothes and ds2 is 4 in August, but been in 4-5 clothes for months now. They are very tall.

I'm thiking about selling micralite. Please talk me out of it!!!

nicolamumof3 · 18/04/2009 15:18

why do you want to sell?
