Hey Ladies,

Just thought I'd start a new thread since we are into a new month hope no one beat me too it

I sold my 03 Sport for £85 inc delivery on Ebay am v.pleased, although a bit miffed by courier but I'm sure I'll manage. LOL

How is everyone?

Sweetkitty didn't think you really really waned it

The BJCM is fab. I am not a stroller person but it works for me. Recline and hood fab and love the air mesh at back with stormcover in case gets cold etc. Really well thought out imo. Glad it was worth the wait as I think I saw you wanted it for ages?

I looked at the Luna mix before I got bjcm and thought looked nice but not as roomy or compact as bjcm and no suspension? Prob better for younger bby tho as ds liked to have a leg rest when he was diddy and none on city mini.

I need to do listings too....

nicolamumof3 · 16/04/2009 09:24

luna mix isn't big at all and folds compactly i loved mine, nice that you can change it all around so don't get bored!

i really want another xt but have to sell quest....anyone????

mamadiva · 16/04/2009 09:28

Hello Fi yup maybe next time we can grab a coffee or something was a bit hectic yesterday LOL.

I soo want your Bug footmuff though v.jealous of it

Are the snunkie ones reversible then? I assumed they were both sided with what you wanted.

onelittlelion · 16/04/2009 09:40

Mamadiva if get custom you can have it pretty much however you want it pretty much. I'd like a couple of nice liners to use with a blanket now it's getting warmer too.

pebbles79 · 16/04/2009 09:42

Yep the normal ones are reversible. My Skate one isn't because the skate liner actually tucks into a frame on the pram as the liner is actually part of the pram (does that even make sense, lol)!! It's got flaps/pockets on the back where it's all got to go round the frame.

pebbles79 · 16/04/2009 09:43

And no reply on netmums

sweetkitty · 16/04/2009 09:52

I really was between the Mix and the BJCM, if I had got one in Agros that would have been it. I wanted a bumper bar as DD3 sits really forward and loves to hang off the bumper bar having a good nose around. She's only little so the leg rest is "up" for her still. She also detests being reclined and the mix has a good upright seat for her. I saw a wee boy the other day in one and he was about the same age as DD3 and he was all content lying half recline whilst she is swinging on the bumper bar

I also love that I can customise it, I have the pink covers and the original black and am going to get a black hood as well.

Will definitely be getting a liner once I have the money

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 16/04/2009 09:53

another convert to the ways of the BJCM, brilliant! I've got chunkle munkle liners on mine there's pics on the S&P board if you are a member - can't remember who here is on it or not, I get easily confused

Anyone had/got a Mac twin Techno that can give me the lowdown on it please?

horsemadgal · 16/04/2009 10:02

sweetkitty, I have a BJCM you can try your daughter in,

sweetkitty · 16/04/2009 10:10

horsemadgal - no I am very happy with the Lunamix thank you

(she says I have been sneakily looking at Obaby Vintage Rose and Summer Flowers this morning ) maybe next year

mamadiva · 16/04/2009 10:12

I was looking at the BJ bumper bar but it's £30 DS would probably like one but not worth the money.

The BJCM does'nt sit too badly it is slightly reclined but nothing too bad my DS is a nosey wee bugger too and he does'nt strain to look out. If hood is over then he leans forward but that's about it.

Oh I forgot about chunkle munkle will have a look actually

I'm rabbiting on are'nt I? Sorry just excited because I got my pram. LOL.

Morning!

Have to wait in for some furniture today (late xmas pressie from my parents). Was hoping it would come so I could meet up with the mums from toddlers and goto soft play and park. Not so worried about soft play as only went last week and it's a PITA when the kids are on hols with Tom who won't go on anything unless you do! The park would have been nice though!

onelittlelion · 16/04/2009 10:36

That's a shame Bexie. Is it too late now? Hopethe furniture arrives soon.

BexieID · 16/04/2009 11:05

Not arrived yet and the mums are meeting at the station as I type, lol. Hoping it comes by 12:20 so we can jump on the train and meet them at the soft play place before they goto the park. Been waiting for furniture to be in stock for awhile though so don't feel so bad missing out!

mamadiva · 16/04/2009 11:49

Aww Bex are they supposed to be here in the morning?

Am sure you will make it! Sorry off subject but is it the blue shell tyoe sandpit you have? Was just wondering how big and does it seem quite sturdy?

I was thinking of buying one as DS loves sand and water this way I could have both LOL.

I don't know does anyone else have a sandpit? Which kind is it I swear I am going to go mad! LOL

Is it just me or is this thread lasting awfully long for us... and where is MrsM etc?

We need a recall of pushchair addicts!!!

OP posts:
BexieID · 16/04/2009 11:58

This is the sandpit we got. Not been used yet but looks sturdy enough. We did think about using it for growing our own veg!

Delivery still not come. It's coming from Paisley and can come at any time. SIL is off work sick next door and one thing coming is her new bed. She did offer to listen out for delivery but I want to check everything is ok, iykwim. And then theres her falling asleep. I don't mind not going out. Tom can play in his ride on car and if it's not too late, i'll pop to the shops with him.

I did make a picnic and feel like eating it right now, lol. Already eaten some choc!

mamadiva · 16/04/2009 12:03

Yeah that's the one I was looking at.

Oh go on get rug out on Toms bedroom floor or somewhere even in garden and get your picnic girl, Tom will be chuffed anyway LOL.
