Pushchair Shed: April part 1.... of many....

Hey Ladies,

Just thought I'd start a new thread since we are into a new month hope no one beat me too it

I sold my 03 Sport for £85 inc delivery on Ebay am v.pleased, although a bit miffed by courier but I'm sure I'll manage. LOL

How is everyone?

I know I have LOADS of clothes and toys I need to get rid of too.

Anyone interested in boys clothes from birth up to age 2-3 I think.

XT is gone but hopefully getting BJCM tomorrow!!! I have bought the raincover and will get a nice liner if I can find one as long as I like it obviously .

Nicola she was out on a night out in Spetember and a guy spiked her drink with GHB then dragged her down an alley and sexually assaulted her basically. But it's turning into bloody gossip and its doing my head in.

I was trying to list stuff last night but by the time I had rooted in the loft, realised some things needed washed, set some things up [doll's house] and photographed it all I was set for bed.

i've just listed some of the boys shoes, they are like new, but will go for pennies i expect! oh well at least they are out of the way i suppose!

I should be listing stuff while the kids are quiet but instead I'm pricing up a holiday to Florida for next year. I want to stay at Disney but DH wants to stay in a diff hotel. Trying to work out which will be cheaper. Will probably have to sell the contents fo my house to afford it though.

Now just have the mountain of ironing to tackle and I can call it a productive day

feel like I have been on the move all day! Tidy, hoover, mop, Sainsbury's delivery, make Bolognese sauce, take stuff to second hand shop......... pant pant.

I do a two week shop and have it delivered then because it's over £100 and on a Tuesday its free delivery!

I'm gonna list this evening because it's mostly toys and the DDs will get sad seeing their old stuff and can't have it.

Keep looking at the different xts in the park and shops.

i still miss my grey xt dunoon, i always look at them longingly (yes im mental!)

my buggyboard arrived today, dp too poorly to tackle fitting it tho!!

Thing is I wasn't mad about the grey. It seemed a bit industrial but at the time that wasn't important.
Now I want a black one, can't afford and don't need New, so have been looking at the older ones with slightly different styling.

Anyhoo I actually cannot be bothered to get into the whole buy sell thing at the minute.

Now if someone just gave me one...... or I won one....

If MN was giving a new XT away as a prize I would be able to think up a million tips and local listings.

Ironing mostly done DD3 not had a nap all day and is therefore sitting on my knee whinging.

XTs are fab, I love the new black ones, very nearly went for one, I have grey too but wanted something different for a change.

I felt the classic was a bit old. When did they stop making them?

It rattled a bit whereas my 2007 xt didn't rattle at all.

i think (tho don't quote me on this!) they replaced the techno classic with the xlr?? i think they stopped making them maybe 3or so years ago?

i really want a grey xt if tate gets on with buggyboard i may get another. it arrived today so waiting to be fitted now!!

I have been watching a couple of grey and red three year old xts on ebay. Bid 40 on a bin 50 one the other day hoping she would offer it to me but no. It didn't reach reserve and stopped at 33.

what about maclaren's lovely spitfire? that would be gorgeous? but maybe a tad expensive?? she's selling £130?

Anyway I aim to do a straight financial swap with volo as far as possible.

Buy xt.
If I like it sell volo.
If I don't sell xt again.

no spitfire is a ryder, so slightly different chassis, bigger wheels, higher handles etc.

i want xt too!!!!!! you should put ad up for volo dunoon!
