Hey Ladies,

Just thought I'd start a new thread since we are into a new month hope no one beat me too it

I sold my 03 Sport for £85 inc delivery on Ebay am v.pleased, although a bit miffed by courier but I'm sure I'll manage. LOL

How is everyone?

How about a second hand Mountain Buggy Terrain for running and off road, Carrielou?

carrielou2007 · 10/04/2009 19:51

I don't really mind what it is but it does really need to fold smallish. My car has a HUGE boot but we are going away next month (Haven holiday) so will be pretty laden down, a big 3 wheeler would be a bit of a squeeze (was going to take xt AND zapp). Holidays abroad though I just don't think there would be room (though don't have to take travel cot now - takes tape measure out to car boot...)

nicolamumof3 · 10/04/2009 20:04

i love my nipper carrielou! folds down nice a superlight!

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/04/2009 20:07

TBH I am never sure of how small they fold up as I rarely fold, not having a car.
MB folds flat-ish and really quite small when wheels are off. Not sure about Terrain.

Jane Powertrack I found bulky. It sort of concertinas up. Can be compact with wheels off.

Hi ladies, dont post very often on here but really need some advice! I have a bugaboo frog, dd is 2.5yrs old. I am obsessed with buggies. Wanted a bug for so long and finally got a secondhand one, not brilliant condition but works. I have been offered a swap for a phil and teds complete with seconds seat, footmuff, coccoon and raincover. I really want one as want a 3 wheeler and love the look of this but would I regret my desicion late on?

Thanks

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/04/2009 20:46

You have one DC npg1?

npg1 · 10/04/2009 20:48

Well I have 2 children, one 6yrs old and a 2.5yr old. I have the bug with buggy board which I dont use but I love the look of the phil and teds so much, think it looks really trendy and I do alot of walking, I know I wouldnt need the second seat but would it be worth it?

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/04/2009 20:54

npg1 unless you are planning another child very soon I wouldn't get the P&T.
Bugaboo should do for your requirements.
If you really want to try a three wheeler I would go for a regular one.
On the other hand and there usually is one, you could sell doubles seat, footmuff and cocoon.

There you go. Complete indecision-my usual state of mind over pushchairs.

npg1 · 10/04/2009 20:56

thanks for your help! May have another one but wouldnt be yet and by that time wouldnt need doubles seat!

Have you had a P&T before flyme?

sweetkitty · 10/04/2009 20:57

I agree with Flymetodunoon, P&T is not a good single buggy, bulky to fold and I don't like the back of it, as it doesn't have a regular hood like other buggies. Fab double though.

sweetkitty · 10/04/2009 20:58

Lisa - forgot to say your bug is fab, am sure you will get it sold no problem.

lisad123 · 10/04/2009 21:02

wish it would hurry up and sell! cancer cost a small fortune

oh and dont sell frog for p&t unless you need a double

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/04/2009 21:04

had an E3.

sweetkitty · 10/04/2009 21:08

lisa money worries should be the last thing on your mind right now

npg1 · 10/04/2009 21:09

thanks everyone. Think I need a decent single 3 wheeler.

Anyone had a quinny freestyle? One with tilting wheel?

lisad123 · 10/04/2009 21:35

quinnys are heavey imo. I know money worries shouldnt be on my mind but 4 weeks in, and real life calls. Sorry, didnt mean to drag down your pram thread.

npg1 · 10/04/2009 21:37

ok thanks lisa, sorry to hear you are going through a bad time at the moment.x

nicolamumof3 · 10/04/2009 22:07

Lisa, no worries we are all here for you, what you and your family are going through you all have our support xxxx

npg tbh value wise depending on condition of your frog and acc's with it it may be a fairish swap. but tbh there are much better three wheelers out there. i loved my p&t as a double it is one of the best for two siblings. but as a single i didn't contemplate using mine at all for that sold it and bought a cheaper, lighter nipper 360 which i adore.

BexieID · 10/04/2009 22:53

Mountain Buggy Urban? I'm selling mine to fund another buggy. It's navy. £80 plus your own courier. It comes with raincover and suncover. It does have a basket but it comes from a slightly newer model, so you need to unclip it/clip it back on when folding/unfolding.

BexieID · 10/04/2009 23:30

nappyaddict - DP might me made redundant so I shouldn't be buying Nipper. Even though I want it.

sweetkitty · 11/04/2009 07:44

Morning everyone how are you all this morning?

lisa - please do not apologise, you did not bring the thread down, all you will find in here is support

nicolamumof3 · 11/04/2009 07:55

morning all good here this morning thanks...just looking forward to family w.end together for once!! hows you??

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/04/2009 08:38

lisad123 · 11/04/2009 09:11

nappyaddict · 11/04/2009 09:15

Bexie sorry to hear that.

Is anyone else interested before I email the seller to explain why I disappeared off the face of the earth for the better part of nearly 2 weeks!
