My XT arrived today
Thought it was going back to kiddicare yesterday. It's lovely. Cheered up my otherwise miserable day, but still not able to test drive it til tomorrow
Looks lovely with the black and grey footmuff and my free pram bag from Boots matches it spot on!

nicolamumof3 · 07/04/2009 15:10

doing 4.30-8pm so nice short shift problem is im doing four days instead of two.

BoredWithWork · 07/04/2009 15:18

MNters, can you help? I need a buggy to fold small for the car trip to France in the summer. I have a Maclaren Quest, but am tempted by the Petite Star Zia as I think it folds smaller. I've seen mixed reviews of the Zia, am I mad to sell my quest and buy a zia instead?

nicolamumof3 · 07/04/2009 15:37

i'd sooner have a zapp over a zia, but zia has recline? its a marmite pushchair tho!!! i love my quest wouldn't want to swap i don't think.

mamadiva · 07/04/2009 15:46

Bored I have'nt tried either but from what I have seen they both have good and bad points, Zia has recline and basket and IIRC is cheaper than Zapp. Zapp sits up more than Zia which is quite far back but has no storage on it and is stuck upright.

I reckon you should keep your Quest because it folds small and you know you like it so won't end up with something you hate!

MrsM that fabric is lovely never thought about the piddle pad thingy might be an idea actually as surely DS will want to potty train at some point

thank you. yes zia has recline over the zapp. I think you're right mamadiva, I just want a new toy!

nicolamumof3 · 07/04/2009 15:53

how old is your ds marla? i personally think toddlers looked squashed in bees but i know alot of mums use them for toddlers, the wings are now thinner on them to give more space.

i had a bebe confort streety which looked quite similar but i got for only £75bnib from ebay (and thats with a carseat) but my ds still looked squashed in that?

madmissy · 07/04/2009 15:54

erm other than a pliko switch or loola streety not sure what would be good space wise for you??

claret1980 · 07/04/2009 16:00

Boredwithwork, I have had a Zia and it was rubbish. Used it a few times and left it in the back of the car. The seat reclines but it doesn't sit upright enough, my son hated it. It felt flimsy. I had to return the first one I got as the wheel kept falling off. Sold it on ebay to fund my P&T.

claret1980 · 07/04/2009 16:04

I have a buzz but it folds in 2 parts and it is quite wide. It is forward & rear facing though.
