Pushchair Shed: April part 1.... of many....

Hey Ladies,

Just thought I'd start a new thread since we are into a new month hope no one beat me too it

I sold my 03 Sport for £85 inc delivery on Ebay am v.pleased, although a bit miffed by courier but I'm sure I'll manage. LOL

How is everyone?

Nicola - I dont think it is made by M&P as East Coast Nurserys sell exactly the same one. It appears to be a German make. I suspect it is lacking in any suspension on the wheels which we are used to. DS looked too big in it as well as it is quite narrow! A bit plastic looking as well - hopefully someone will buy it off Ebay and we will be rid of the bone shaker! Mums should not be allowed to buy pushchairs without supervision!!!!

dis am very tempted but must be good, got no cash atm anyway, and i do love my quest. may consider an xt at the end of the summer.

I really like that Hauck Pluto! They've got them in my catalogue but they're £250 in it so think DH would go mad!!

Hi All,

Not been on for ages but need your advice please .

I did a really stupid thing and bought a buggy off gum tree and paid by bank transfer as she said didnt have paypal (i know it was stupid and im too trusting) anyway long story but she wasnt in when courier i had arranged came but i thought her excuse was genuine and she has had reasons for not being in for me to arrange courier since,i offered to pay the money for her to take to post office if she couldnt wait in and she jumped at the chance said she was in post office and i should send money, when i said i wouldnt send money till i had the receipt number she changed her story and was not even in post office and made more excuses trying to get the money.Anyway this has gone on for over a month and she said she had posted it then said she would cancel delivery and refund last tues (as far as im aware you cant cancel royal mail standard parcels) she never refunded and i have now told her i am reporting to police but she has not replied.I have her bank details ,address home phone number and mobile but dont really know how to repot her.
Sorry its so long but any ideas

Hello ladies, refusing to get dragged in... Dh thinks I have ishoos over prams already (we only have three in the house at the moment ).

Anyway, quick question for ya. Would the Luna liner fit my Quinny Buzz? Was looking for cheap (under £15) footmuff/liner to jazz it up/protect seat for summer and stumbled across these on ebay...

i really like those haucks, but you know they will be really cheap soon as all haucks are, i bet they go right down in price. i would get one if they were cheaper. like a ziko!

oh dolly what a nightmare, was it a lot of money? i so feel for you, i think my hubby would go round and pay her a personal visit if that happened to me. i would contact CAB for advice possibly on how to proceed?

It was only £70 and £8 for courier but still im poor and got 5 children lol no but seriously i think she has done it more then once ,she played me like a violin and im always suspisous, gum tree have removed the ad and offered if i report it to hel ppolice but i dont want to be sitting in dirty cop shop over this.Oh has said we should drive up and pay her a visit but would cost more in petrol,im so tempted to phone her and give her a piece of my mind.

Luna liner would be a bit big on the buzz tbh. Unless its the old style seat?

Ring her and tell her she has 4 days to refund of for buggy to arrive, tell her you have contacted the police and they will be paying her a visit at the end of the 4 days is no show.

Tell her your husbands wants to go up there and get bmoney himself but you are stopping him, for now. (but don't word it like a threat!! lol)

I like the frame on the hauck pluto as wel.All chiny and chromy . It would get scratched really easily as well, and you'd have to keep the frame clean with baby oil. Too much like hard work.

She was supposed to refund tues and i left it for 2 days to give her chance and on thursdays i gave her till fri dinner then said i was reporting her to police but she has not replied.Im guessing police wont do anything if i go to them but i dont want her doing it again,she also had two double buggys that look like have since been removed too.
