Sorry I could only stand the first 30 seconds!

misdee · 05/03/2009 15:01

yes have seen the orbit. woulod like to try one out but v v v expensive.

Disenchanted3 · 05/03/2009 15:20

I think the orbit looks like a toilet!

WilfSell · 05/03/2009 15:26

er, pushchair ladies, do you charge for your expertise or is it free?

I am wondering if you can give the definitive 2009 answer to 'what is the most compact buggy for a toddler' for the purposes of fitting in a roofbox with all our other holiday crap?

We have SO much stuff to take and need something tiny but not horribly expensive either...

emandlucas · 05/03/2009 15:26

Can someone help me please? I'm looking to rent a zapp or a petite star zia for when I'm on holiday in France later in the summer. Any ideas where I can rent one from in the SouthEast? I currently have a maclaren but I think that these two fold up smaller, am I right? Might sell the mac and buy one of the other two anyway, suggested it to DH and he wasn't impressed! Anyway, if anyone knows of anywhere could you let me know please? Thank you!

misdee · 05/03/2009 15:37

Disenchanted3 · 05/03/2009 15:38

Wilself,

if its a toddler I would say Zapp, pros are veryyy compact, easy to fold, comes with travel bag and adaptors for carseat (which you can sell) Nice to push and lovely colours ...

Cons : no shopping basket, does not recline.

you can buy a shopping basket but its very small, expensive and not worth the bother IMO

So if you don't mind carrying stuff in a backpack rather than on the buggy and think your child will be OK no lying down go for that.

If you are OK with 2nd hand you can pick one up easily for £60-£70 delivered. like here on ebay

If you want new £130ish for newest 2209 model

If you don't like it i'll go onto something else ...

Disenchanted3 · 05/03/2009 15:40

2209 model? bloody heck! it will be flying and changing babies nappies by then

misdee · 05/03/2009 15:40

i prefer maclaren volo's for holidays. bigger sunhood, and a very compact umbrella fold. they are long though.

Disenchanted3 · 05/03/2009 15:42

are you near Essex? bargain here, £50 - with under basket too

Disenchanted3 · 05/03/2009 15:43

I think she needs to fit it in a roofbox on car.

misdee · 05/03/2009 15:43

how big are roofboxes?

i need one for my car really.

Disenchanted3 · 05/03/2009 15:46

Dunno! Lol,

depends on how long your car is?!

MrsMagooo · 05/03/2009 15:48

Diva did you get your card ok?

nicolamumof3 · 05/03/2009 16:00

deffo a zapp, i love my zapp, i love the basket same size as a maclaren i would say, i bought proper quinny one and have been v.happy with it.

carrie email me [email protected]

luna's are lovely spacious seat, great to push i missed mine so much after i sold it think they are great value as the same price as a maclaren quest is now. i've got a luna mix on its way. can't wait!

pebbles79 · 05/03/2009 16:06

Luna is a lovely pushchair, really nice to push. Basket doesn't look huge but it's so easy to get into so you can put loads in it. It's my shopping pram, lol!

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/03/2009 17:11
