DD is 18 months and 15kg (heavy). Our Pliko Pramette is utterly hopeless over anything other than tarmac and we want rid.

Suggestions for a replacement that will navigate rough paths through heath and woodland would be gratefully received.

In a perfect world, you could get the BOB (Beast of Burden) Revolution - it gives the option of a fixed wheel for off-road use or swivel wheel for city travels. I've got the SUS D'lux for jogging and off-road. It is fantastic. The only downside is you'd have to have it shipped to someone in North America or acquire a US postal address - which can be done, I saw an article about it in the Times a couple months ago. I'd also say the weather shields that you can get as an accessory are by far the most effective I've seen.

Quinny freestyle here. It has a handbrake too which the P&T one doesn't iirc.

Didn't realise it had already been recommended. Mine went everywhere - fields, muddy paths through woods etc and it has big spring shock absorbers so ds was always comfortable. Quite big but all the wheels come off really easily (ideal if you've been through lots of mud) and it fitted in the boot of my MX-5

You can lock the front wheel to stop it swivelling too.

Regarding the RED Terrain model, for some reason Mountain Buggy supply different colours in different countries.

The Terrain colours are:

UK and Ireland: black stripe, chocolate stripe, black, navy
Mainland Europe: red, navy, black
Australasia: black stripe, chocolate stripe:
USA: red, black

My Terrain order is being fulfilled from the Netherlands, hence the availability of red.

Jane Powertrack 360 better than Jane Slalom IMO.

So finally received the Mountain Buggy. Somewhere we have a tyre pressure gauge, but I have no idea where.

Can anyone give a rough 'pinch test' guide to how inflated they should be? I gather either 10 or 15psi is the best level.
