OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 24/02/2009 19:29

i got the happysnack lasted through tate and luka really liked it krissy. nice lie back seat for little ones too. and easy to take whole cover off goes in machine. thumbs up from me!

mumofdjandbabies · 24/02/2009 19:35

really oh maybe Ill get one then

are they chunky though as in really big as sick of baby equipment ha ha

nicolamumof3 · 24/02/2009 19:37

they fold quite good. i constantly had mine up wasn't a problem. the lie back is good for little baby not ready to wean but wants to sit with you at table!

nappyaddict · 24/02/2009 19:58

i find the happysnack really big and bulky.

According to a friend of a friend who works in a baby shop the P&T high pod, Mutsy Easy grow, Mountain Buggy I Can Sit, Red Kite Feed Me Comfy, Cosatto Yummi, Cosatto Toast, M&P cuisine and the Babylo Mandy and East Coast Sit Up (last 2 are discontinued though so you'd have to look on Ebay) are what she recommends to customers. The phil and ted's table top ones are good for taking places and if you haven't got much space.

mumofdjandbabies · 24/02/2009 20:27

oh right! I def need something neat! xx

claret1980 · 24/02/2009 20:30

Evening all,

Been on ebay today to check if car was selling. It didn't go for as much as we thought but it sold. Got an email 5 mins later saying he had bid on behalf of someone and they said they didn't want it and he had been trying to retract bid but ebay wouldn't let him.
Was seriously peed of at this so I emailed back and said that he could have sent me a message to let me know before the auction ended. Have second chanced it as we really need a 7 seater!
Sorry but I had to rant.

Good notes, my buzz gets picked up tomorrow so hopefully should get it Thurs or Fri.

DivamakesKimchi · 24/02/2009 21:07

claret, thats PITA, hope other bidder gets your offer.
nicola, i havent been mp shop today, went boots and next, and it was time to do school run will go tomorrow, and report back, do you want luna mix in nongirly colorway?
mumtodj, we had chicco polly when baby, its lovely padded, a few positions for seat and back. dc used to sleep in it after feed. but bulky, takes all room.
i think nappyaddict pointed out latest good ones.

nicolamumof3 · 24/02/2009 21:32

nicolamumof3 · 24/02/2009 21:48

claret just read your post, bloody ebayers eh?

nappyaddict · 24/02/2009 21:52

The Red Kite wooden one is only 40 in Asda. You can get an inflatable cushion from from Ikea which is good for making it more secure for small babies.

mumofdjandbabies · 24/02/2009 21:55

really ? wow nappyaddict thanks but not one near me

nappyaddict · 24/02/2009 21:58

You can get it online from asda direct I think.

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/02/2009 21:58

Highchairs-I can recommend the chicco seat for at the table, the one with hippos on the handles. Even though it drove me crazee in the end because of the hard to remove cover and gunk under the hippos, it was neat and my dds could sit up in it really well from an early age, it seemed to support them and it is neat and doesn't take up floor space. I now have the babydan chair and the red kite comfy sit or whatever it's called and both are good. Babydan has it over red kite on comfort and quality but red kite cheaper natch.

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 24/02/2009 22:17

I know people who have had the Babydan and Tripp Trapp ones and their children managed to tip them up so that scared me a bit.

nappyaddict · 24/02/2009 22:40

luna mix said they might do a BIN for £60.

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/02/2009 22:48

ah yes dd2 did tip up babydan. She was fine.
DD3 has not managed that so far. Touching wood again.

andyrobo237 · 24/02/2009 23:04

Thats ok! Have to decide between two now - a M&P beat buggy in black or a Maclaren Quest in silver and black! Need the lightest really!

nicolamumof3 · 24/02/2009 23:05

is there a difference between a beat and pulse?

is the quest carrielous? i'd have hers know it would be nice!

andyrobo237 · 24/02/2009 23:12

Not sure about the M&P?

Yes the Quest is carrie's - it sounds like it will do me! Just need a price off her now!
