at least we have open fire downdstairs so not too bad and its bit milder today because of the rain.

right need to go get shower (electric so thats working!!) and dressed.

we have family to us today for big roast later.

Umlellala · 25/01/2009 09:06

hi, all - gonna try and keep up
techno, have you linked to your maclaren on ebay? maybe people have suggestions...

nicola, omg, and it's so cold... when will you have it back on?

4andnotout hope you get your pink tandem! they are pretty cheap atm (grrrr). I do like it as a pushchair, am gonna persuade dh to get it down from loft... single and buggyboard/sling all v well but could have done with double the other day in the rain

A question for you ladies, I struggle sometimes to push the (lightweight) icandy up the kerb, is it cos it's still too heavy? or because of the weight distribution? Or would bigger wheels help? Or something else?

Am now joining the quest for the Perfect Pram for Me. A bit like the quest for the Perfect Handbag For Me.

elmoandella · 25/01/2009 09:14

ull - because its heavy. doesn't matter about weight it will always be a heavy bugger.

right i'm off to science centre with my mum today. better get my arse in gear and have shower. kids watching the incredibles so not to trash house while i do so.

4andnotout · 25/01/2009 09:23

umlellala They are pretty cheap @ the moment £109 with free delivery on the website, just got to physically make room for it! I have the pliko and duette on the freeads website and a woman has said she is interested in the duette but has been slow keeping in contact It is a bargain for the amount it comes with, but i shall eb glad to have some room back!

lillypie · 25/01/2009 09:25

Morning everyone,I'm of all the buggys
that every one has lol

I only have three, an Urban Detour double,my beloved MB and the POP (that I bought from carrielou)that I really like.

Luckily, because I live in a matchbox the all fit (with some creative stacking) into cupboard outside my front door.

I find myself lusting after something else. I wonder if I could fit one in the shed

techno · 25/01/2009 09:40

cant remember if i put a link up before but its here pics are not fab because they were from pic trail as i have none on laptop and pc not working
ive always been crap at listing stuff on ebay i think i do more buying than selling lol

MrsMagooo · 25/01/2009 09:45

Any way you can take more photos lovely?? The photis aren't overly clear so that might be why it's not getting better offers?

techno · 25/01/2009 09:47

i would have to do another listing as dont know how to add more pics onto the html thing.

4andnotout · 25/01/2009 09:47

Techno you need pictures of all the liners really, as i found it confusing to what/how many you get. HTH

techno · 25/01/2009 09:48

oh and they were done on my phone thats why not so clear. i prefer to take pics outside but havent been able to because it keeps raining!!!

techno · 25/01/2009 09:52

that means taking them all out of their bags then wont people think they are not new?

4andnotout · 25/01/2009 09:57

Is there no way you can take them out of their bags carefully and re seal?

techno · 25/01/2009 10:01

i suppose i could do. i think i will wait for the rugrats kids to go down for their naps then do more pics. i will add them to my pic trail first then come back for opinions as i am rubbish at doing pics!

MrsMagooo · 25/01/2009 10:18

Techno if you'd like me too I'll be more then happy to do the lisiting for you with the HTLM code? Drop me email if you want a hand lovely

techno · 25/01/2009 10:27

MrsMagooo · 25/01/2009 10:28

No problems lovely

carrielou2007 · 25/01/2009 10:45

Lillypie I'm hoping to pop up to The Mall tomorrow at some point (might go today but got nephew's party later so if I get time) as need a waterproof warm coat for hols, maybe get one in the sale in Animal sort o thing.

I'll pop the raincover through your letterbox or if I don't make it tomorrow will defo post it (sorry to have kept you hanging on so long) is that ok?

Just waiting on some more bug stuff to sell, decided to get me a black xt so going to sell lulu guiness covers (got to clean them first) and the dazzle (ditto) and black quest (still spotless!)

MrsMagooo · 25/01/2009 10:47

Carrie have you sold your actual bug?

lillypie · 25/01/2009 11:07

carrie that would be great!

I think I am hankering after a Dazzle do you think I will LIKE it? Does your DD fit in ok?

I really like the pop but I am having trouble getting the shoulder straps to fit my DD properly. It may just be because of thick winter coats but I have just been using the waist straps

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 11:16

Techno i would change the title to read four seasons instead of 4seasons, as i would search maclaren four seasons i think?

also better photos with all the liners will help. i wonder if maclaren can link you to the listing of hers she bought? i remember it had all the liners on in the pics and looked great. if you can take pics outside thats nice but not always possible. it should sell for that price you aren't asking too much, its just still quiet it will pic up again in the next few weeks im sure.

i REALLY want to try a DAZZLE too!!!!

nappyaddict · 25/01/2009 11:19

lillypie - my ds fits in fine in his dazzle even with his coat on. much better than in his luna.

what colour are you looking for? I've got a black one with silver frame that I'm selling so I can fund getting an XLR.

carrielou2007 · 25/01/2009 11:20

Have sold quite a few of the bits to it Mrs M, still got pink covers, chasis (though got a lady who wants it) seat unit, parasol and a few bits on ebay.

Lillypie I love the dazzle, being tall it's fab and dd fits easily, the seat does take weight of I think 18kg rather than the standard 15max. Know what you mean about straps, in the quest with buggysnuggle have to cut her in half with a coat on but ok on the dazzle. Hoping black xt will be ok as bigger.

I like it as it is really funky and you rarely see anyone else with it.

I'll sling it in the car in a min then you can try it if you are in. Going to try to pop out in a bit but dd still not moving her bum!! Otherwise sometime tomorrow defo as I really need a coat!!

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 11:25

i want a dazzle with black frame i think? do these scratch easy.

i was thinking of getting one of those ones ebay at 69.99 as the feedback looks good.

carrie my black xt comes tomorrow!!

nappyaddict · 25/01/2009 11:26

Don't know about the black but my silver one hasn't got any scratches at all.

nicolamumof3 · 25/01/2009 11:28

it wouldn't bother me on the silver but on the black it would really show??

do you have footmuff with yours/raincover nappy?
