pushchair · 21/01/2009 13:37

It's only childrens paint but blue on a pink top.

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 13:37

If I went to KK I'd never leave

Pushchair how bad is the paint mark?

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 21/01/2009 13:37

well it's going to be used for as I say one trip a week,( and even then only house to bus, bus to toddlers, toddlers to bus, bus to home) it's for a 10mo.

Maclaren · 21/01/2009 13:38

lol Nicola oh yes I shall be visiting the motherland on Saturday morning before going to my mums! she lives about 10 minutes from there and they have a bargain corner where they sell off exdisplay stuff!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 13:42

yep i love my zapp but it is v.low, no problem for me as im only 5'3" but whatever you pay you will need a basket i've used mine this morning and missed having something to throw ds' cup, my gloves etc.

ooooh im so jealous maclaren re.kiddicare, esp. as i want to buy a new pushchair! waiting on offer re. my xt im torn whether to sell or keep now tbh. i do love it, but i fancy trying a black one!

pushchair · 21/01/2009 13:43

Paint-3 spots on front of top faded but still definitly visible. All right beside the slogan of course. Worst is on both sleeves at cuff and looks more mixed with brownish paint there too Actually could be DPs paint he does his models with which is acrylic I think. he lets DDs do some painting but never thinks about aprons. Some of their tops are completely ruined.

claret1980 · 21/01/2009 13:43

Wish we had a mothercare or something like that here. We have 1 pram shop that is very expensive. I only go in to try pushchairs out, don't buy unless they are a very good price.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 13:47

mothercare are cr*p tho for prams imo. independents seem to stock better ranges?? we don't have any here. mothercare in tunbridge wells with v.small amount of stock and toys r us. thats it but prob a good idea with my pram habit.

right off to get ready for swimming lessons now, need to put buggysnuggle on p&t now i've stolen the p&t sleeping bag for the zapp!!! i want to use my zapp again but need the p&t to carry all the swimming stuff!

pushchair · 21/01/2009 13:47

I would so love a big pram shop near here but its probably just as well I don't. Having said that I could resist Duncans quite well because the prices werent good and the staff were not always very welcoming.

Maclaren footmuff just arrived
If it is too short its straight back for a refund to help pay for MB!

Maclaren · 21/01/2009 13:48

Nicola loving your FB status lol! I saw black Mac XT on Saturday it does look lovely right now I really am off lol!

Maclaren · 21/01/2009 13:53

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 13:54

ha,ha! i was supposed to be doing my ironing this lunchtime whilst luka asleep but now its time to get him up and go swimming!

claret1980 · 21/01/2009 13:56

If anyone is there, what do you think about a Ziko in Petit Canari with raincover & footmuff for £72 delivered? Do you think it is a good deal?

pushchair · 21/01/2009 14:02

claret when i was thinking of getting a mushy peas ziko I was seeing them for £50 delivered and lots weren't going on ebay for that. Maybe if in V.good condition?

claret1980 · 21/01/2009 14:09

Looks good condition I did say £60 delivered but she said she wants postage on top of that. I think most of them are going for around £50 + p&p

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 21/01/2009 14:16

thnx for feedback, checked out reviews of bebe confort vit and they are all good, do you know exactly what about them was pants ? scuse typing with one hand

Right Maclaren Footmuff is going back. It's long enough but is very soft and she is going to be pushing it against wheels. I thought it would be more boxy like in picture and would keep its shape more and stay above wheels. So am just going to use my fleece one and save myself £30!

No knowledge of vit sorry.

claret is this on ebay-can you negotiate? If she gets no other offers she may capitulate.

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 16:05

Claret I wouldn't personally pay that much for a Ziko - generally they go for about £50 + postage.

Mary it's just not a particulary fab make & can feel a bit flimsy. It's not overly comfortable - but that is JMO - as with all prams/buggies what someone hates someone else will love so think it's best to try these things out to find what's right for you

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 21/01/2009 17:28

Another Marmite one then

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 17:44

evening all, back from swimming lessons which the boys loved, boys had tea there then we went to moss bross to look at suit hire for wedding, so expensive!! then waitrose for a dine in for £10 deal yum!! and got their entertaining magazine as dp is catering wedding to give us even more ideas, def getting wedding cake from there as well.
