afternoon all!

been out with the zapp again, love it!!! so going to order a basket as really need somewhere to stash luka's drink, a little bit of shopping etc. not sure what one to get now.

had lady offer £115 cash on collection for techno so i've said £120 and they got a deal lets see. then i can order my black mac!!

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 12:50

Yup IKWYM The seller has replied saying they have black but didn't tell me how much postage was - it says on the listing to check description but it doesn't say....

Nicola I'd go for the zip up basket - much more secure

BexieID · 21/01/2009 12:56

Glad you like the Zapp Nicola. I managed to trap my finger in the one I had (and used for an hour, lol). How much was it btw at babyvalue?

claret1980 · 21/01/2009 12:58

Been looking for ziko at our local pram shop. They never had any instock though.
I saw the most hideous sight! A cheapie version of a P&T. It was an exact copy of it. It looked really cheap and plasticky. I think it was £300. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Def not something I would buy.

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 12:59

i just got the quinny one mrs.m as i like to have all the right stuff lol!

bexie zapp was £80 posted from babyvalue. thats the second pushchair i've had from them now really would recommend. i really like it as its so light and nippy round shops. have to see if tate fits in if he does im taking on hols. just need to get a travel bag. im torn now between keeping my grey xt or buying the black one lol. well i'll wait and see what lady says on ebay. i can use my new black footmuff with it i bought last week and probably the m&p liner i bought from pushchair talking myself into now arent i!!!

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 13:00

thats interesting you should say that claret as i think someone was linking to that on ebay the other day. im not an obaby fan always looked a bit cheap to me.

BexieID · 21/01/2009 13:03

That was good, will have to keep an eye on babyvalue then, lol. If I was going to buy a Mac I would get the black one. It's a shame you can't adjust the handle angle as it would annoy me as my main buggy!

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 13:07

Claret OBaby are notouriusly (sp) cheap & nasty!

claret1980 · 21/01/2009 13:08

Would rather get a good one that will at last or at least be resalable.

WIll check Babyvalue to see if they have anything good on.

BexieID · 21/01/2009 13:10

babyvalue do car seats as well. Thats the next big purchase I think for Tom, although i'm sure he'll be ok in his at least till after summer.

Must go shower and do lunch!

claret1980 · 21/01/2009 13:11

Apine Xl goes on Ebay tonight, I'm going to get another one even if its not a ziko. Might pool pennies together and get a buzz. Oh decisions, decisions!

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 21/01/2009 13:16

Thanks Nicola re P&T q - will check them out - afaik the chassis are maybe a cm difference, just someone was flogging a set in the local press at a verrrreeeeee ;) good price - but of course no use if it won't fit!!

Can you all recommend me a cheapish umbrella folding, doesn't need to lie flat, needs to be reasonably high handled - I only need it once a week and don't really want to spend much, just I can't fold my P&T with one hand and lug it on bus. I don't like Maclaren Triumph as I find it very narrow for a large norked bird to push comfortably!

claret1980 · 21/01/2009 13:19

What about a M&P Pulse, they are quite light and easy to fold. I manage to get on bus wih my P&T but ours are the oes that you can roll on and roll off, I cannot fold P&T either!

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 13:20

i'd recommend pop or maclaren xt for highness tho xt is infinitely better than the pop imo

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 21/01/2009 13:21

any knowledge of this?

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 21/01/2009 13:23

Claret I simply can't do it with two hands never mind one hand it stayed up for around 3 months after getting it plus I was scared I would chop off my finger as read about that happening I love it to bits, but I have to be able to use the claptrap bus

Actually when I said high handles, doesn't have to be overly so, just I recall a lot of cheaper umbrella folds are quite low

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 21/01/2009 13:24

or this one?

I'm a cheapskate ;)

Maclaren · 21/01/2009 13:30

Right P&T is on ebay so need to sell that before Saturday when yes Ladies I am going to the Motherland off for luch then post office then dreaded iroing after the school run lucky lucky me

Hello all. Nippy isn't it. Sunny here though.
Anyone have a tip how to get paint stains out of a cotton top. Have tried Vanish and washing with a glow white sachet. Its a No Added Sugar top I wanted to sell too

nicolamumof3 · 21/01/2009 13:34

prefer the first one but tbh would personally have neither what age dc is it for? as neither have a legrest.

MrsMagooo · 21/01/2009 13:35
