ooh I have a baby einsten one, got it reduced at TK Maxx, LOVE IT. Loads better than the hand=me-down DD1 got!!

I am fairly ambivalent about them
neither of mine were that interested in them early on.
by the time they were vaguely interested they were also rolling and would roll into the sides and get tangled up.
and they got frustrated by not being able to erach the stuff, or, once they could reach it not being able to pull it off and eat it lol

so, persoanlly I wouldn't spend a lot of money on one. but I am sure there are plenty of other
"normal" babies who love them

NotAnOtter · 29/09/2008 22:11

yes the baby einstein one does look nice

tbh N is not good at being awake and i am feeling a bit desparate !

do you think they are worth it? I cannot remember how long they go under them?

thisisyesterday · 29/09/2008 22:14

oh yes, I had forgotten about how he just trashed it once he was bigger.

I have that one
It is well made
It takes up a lot of room
The hanging toys seem popular
The bolts need tightening occasionally
It looks nice in the room
I have put cork circle under the wheels as I think walkers are dangerous
Occasionally a bay will bump his/her head on the bottom circle

NotAnOtter · 29/09/2008 22:15

NAO - you are obviously talking to me

EachPeachPearMum · 29/09/2008 23:29

Yes.

EachPeachPearMum · 29/09/2008 23:48

Oh, and I meant to say, that although the Hess one is gorgeous, I don't really like baby gyms- people leave babies under there too long I find, and I see loads of babies with plagio- or brachy-cephalic heads these days. (erm-not in a professional capacity you understand, just a nosy, looking at other babies type fashion!)
