I repeat- this is not in a professional capacity!

I'm a project manager.

i like the fact it grows with them. they can use it from newborn to standing so has good playability value as opposed to your standard baby gym which only lasts a few months.

my friend has this which is good. she used it as a place for baby to nap in the daytime aswell.

we just had something like this and lay it on a folded up blanket so it was like the more expensive padded ones. i liked it cos it did lying on back, tummy time and he still played with it a few months after he was sitting.

i've been given 3 of those ones where the cross bars continually fall over.

finally bought myself the rainforest one. and it's fabby. stayed up even when older dc was leaning on it and trying to be nosey.

got plenty of extra loops for hanging other toys.

and toysrus do them on sale at half price every so often

I wouldnt get the hess one, lovely as it looks tbh. We have a tiny love one, which also sings and lights up, although i have taken that bit out atm. It can be folded to a reasonable small size (would slide on sofa for eg) and i have taken it to mil's house and put baby in it there. Ds is 6 months and still loves it (and dd does seem fond of getting in at 2 ) I dont think i would want a tiny baby bumping their head or have to cart it from room to room.

Although it says the hess one could be used as a cruising type toy, i think at that age the baby will be more interested in furniture and newer toys. But dd did have an incredibly short attention span, perhaps other babies would be better.

thanks

i think you have all put me off hess but if anyone has a second hand one - i am in the market
