Before I spend ££££ on one, please tell me if they are shite or not. I only tend to see people posting about the positives of them but I want to hear what is negative.

Nicola, she said buying 10 a year. As in buying 10 buggies per year I think.

nicolamumof3 · 25/09/2008 14:03

oh yes read it the wrong way round lol!!! Duh.

pgwithnumber3 · 25/09/2008 20:55

LMAO nicola!

I am desperate for a nice single pushchair now...

After selling my Bugaboo I am in mourning and my secondhand Pliko just ain't cutting the mustard.

oh yes I went through this too!! As i hit boredom with doubles i started to lust after trendy, maneouvreable (sp) single pushchairs. having to buy a double sparked my pushchair addiction tbh!

nappyaddict · 25/09/2008 22:10

pg - why don't you like the pliko?

pgwithnumber3 · 26/09/2008 07:18

Oh I do like the Pliko nappy but this one is a bit tatty for my liking. I don't do tatty.

I am going to pop to M&P today and see if they have Aria in. I know people don't rate the Aria but this will do me until DD3 comes along. DD2 loves the bumper bar on the Pliko but I ain't shelling out for a new Pliko!

I don't like arias, what about s/hand luna they are lovely to push if you like mamas and papas?

pgwithnumber3 · 26/09/2008 10:55

Do not like the Luna at all, there was a huge safety issue with the original one, I nearly bought it for DD2 until I read the reviews. Also she loves loves loves holding onto the bar on the Pliko and the Aria is a squarer seat like the Pliko which she finds comfier. The Luna seat is tiny. For £69.99, a new Aria is a bargain. I cannot do secondhand nicola, I am far too fussy. I strip my prams down all the time and scrub the wheels etc, no-one would sell me a pram that would live up to my high expectations. Also, it is only to use for 3 months.

I loved my luna, shame i've deleted the pics of it from my pic trail, like all my pushchairs it was immaculate lol. i've got ocd im sure!!! I had the version 3 and we had no issues with it, so lovely to push esp.one handed with a toddler to hold onto as well!! i've slimmed down now to just two pushchairs

nappyaddict · 26/09/2008 12:50

the new luna has none of the safety issues of the old one. they've got a bumper bar so the floating harness is safe to use like on the pliko. like a lot of lightweight buggies it's not too good with a lot of weight on the handlebars but i use wrist weights on the front wheels to stop it tipping when i put shopping on the handlebar. although if you ever find yourself running for buses or appointments the luna isn't for you. i did this once and the front wheel got caught in a dip and went flying. now i use it as a car buggy cos i'm always running for buses!

nicolamumof3 · 26/09/2008 12:51

lol nappy, i loved my luna it was light and easy to push. miss it now

pgwithnumber3 · 26/09/2008 19:24

I got the Aria for £69, I had to take a maternity dress back to M&P that I bought a few weeks ago but ripped so I exchanged that and only had to pay £24 for the pushchair! Although it is not what I would usually buy, DD2 loves it, she had some raisins and her drink in the tray and loved the freedom harness. Can't complain for that price and I liked the way it pushed, I can push it one-handed. I had a look at the Luna but it is not worth me paying £160 for a pushchair that I am going to use for 4 months.

I know you don't want s/hand but asking for piccies won't hurt?!

thekgb · 28/09/2008 11:43

it's a cool concept idea i thought but i must admit i hated mine-the frame is light and easy to manage true, but if you have an awkward child like i did in the front who liked to get out of the pram due to rubbishy staps or won't keep a raincover on meaning the poor child in the 2nd seat has no form of shelter-fine if it's a nice climate, the hood is flimsy also.mountain buggy should make a pram like this as they have everything perfect, sturdy hood/raincover etc.they'd put phil and teds to shame!howver everyone is different.

thekgb · 28/09/2008 11:46

sorry that msg was meant to go to a phil and teds link lol
