How many years is crystal? I don't think anything 'made' of crystal would be appropriate...do men like crystal things?!

Does he like booze?
A decanter can be fairly old fashioned but would be crystal.
What about some really nice brandy balloons?
Dartington Crystal do a yard of ale!

BeetrootBevan · 30/06/2008 10:39

he would not appreciate a decanter or a yard of ale

we have a few tht we received as wedding presents that barely see the light of day

OP posts:
Tigerschick · 30/06/2008 10:39

Ooh - I like that decanter lappin linked to - I was thinking of http://www.lindaclifford.com/Crystal/DecanterSq.jpg this sort of thing.

Tigerschick · 30/06/2008 10:40

I meant:
this sort of thing.

BeetrootBevan · 30/06/2008 10:44

I think he might like this with a picture of our 4 children engraved on it...but I am not sure if it is vile

Erm ... I think the heart shape might be a bit much for my taste - but the present isn't for me ...
The other shapes available might be better.
Or, go for something completely different ... a night in a posh hotel or a hot air balloon trip or something.
