Just got one in blue, thanks to a very kind MNer who posted about the reduction in M'care.

She said I need to buy some fleecey things? Or something - a hood maybe? I don't know what to get and where to get it cheaply, so any hints kindly appreciated!

TIA

i get that as well at the school. they are already laying bets on how buggies i will have.

after trying out so many with dd3, i know i will be happy with my bugaboo, mountain buggy and stroller. (all second hand and nowhere near RRP)

Flllight · 20/06/2008 18:44

I didn't buy any new ones with Ds2 either - well, one was new but it was half price, all the others I tried were on ebay.

I know a lovely woman whose husband is into bicycles in much the same way...likes to try them out, has a shed full, it's just a hobby!

The bug is my first new one, the rest have all been second hand and I either got my money back or made a profit.

Flllight · 23/06/2008 13:57

Sparkly did you get your covers yet? Mine just came, I can't believe they really sent them!! Perhaps it is karma for all the MNers they have mucked about in the past

not yet! And my postie has been today, recieved my sand covers that I got on ebay, but they have washed them and shrunk them so have emailed the seller to see what I should do now. Hopefully my demin ones come tomorrow. What do they look like on??

Flllight · 23/06/2008 18:14

Oh no, that's a bit shoddy about the covers
I haven't taken the denim ones out, am just going to sell them on. I got some sand ones with a discount code at Babyworld, so they were 59. I'm going to put the denim ones on ebay I think...
Hope yours arrive soon x

It was courier btw - could they have left them with a neighbour? My neighbours are always taking parcels, then not actually telling me they have them for 3 days..

SparklyGothKat · 24/06/2008 14:53

Flllight do you want a sand parasol? I won one on ebay last night and I don;t need it now as Mothercare swopped the dodgy covers for me for some red ones.

Flllight · 24/06/2008 16:05

Oh, thanks sparkly, that's very sweet of you but I don't think I'm going to use a parasol - bought a breezy hood and sunshade bit thingy...can you ebay it?
That was good of Mothercare. Red is lovely!!
