Hi guys, looking for some recommendations on tea for women. What's your favourite flavour? What is your must-have one around the house?:)

OP posts:

I drink Yorkshire Tea, like tea used to be…

maudelovesharold · 06/03/2026 13:40

I like a nice cup of Lapsang Souchong. Very difficult to make it as strong as a big hefty man would drink it, so definitely a dainty ladies tea.

Agapornis · 06/03/2026 13:44

Builder's tea.

CarrieMoonbeams · 06/03/2026 13:45

I just drink Man Tea (He Tea?). But then I'm post menopausal and I stomp along rather than walking like a laydee, so am practically a bloke anyway. HTH.

Wipeywipey · 06/03/2026 13:46

My favourite WC bevvie, how did you know?
Does a bird shit in the loo? This bird does, ducks.

My bedroom teapot always effuses the smell of Cosmic Cuddle for bedtime. Kitchen has to be Grumpy Morning Motivator. 100% the only way I can function. Men are so lucky not to have these issues!

Obviously I can only drink Lady grey tea with a slice of lemon from a bone china cup and saucer after its been brewed in a vintage teapot at 4pm in the conservatory whilst wearing a twin set, pearls, and a tweed skirt. A terribly nice girl from the village comes and does it for me.
I wasn't raised by wolves.

You must be "new money". One knows, you do not drink Lady Grey (or Earl Grey for the men obvs) with a slice of lemon. And 4pm is far too late in the day for Lady Grey. It is best served for elevenses. You may not have been raised by wolves, but you certainly were not privileged enough to be raised by Corgis.

'Guys' is gender-neutral. HTH.

It isn’t really. If you ask a straight man how many ‘guys’ they’d slept with, they’re unlikely to say any.

Wtf are you blithering about?

Perfect response.

Nighttimenoise · 06/03/2026 13:53

I have to make sure any tea I buy isn't wrapped too tightly as my weak lady arms can't open it.

Yorkshire tea here too.

Empress13 · 06/03/2026 13:53

I’ll spare you the sarccy comments and say I love the Yorkshire Biscuit teas delish the one they sell in M&S is also lovely. For night time I like a camomile tea helps me unwind and relax

That Corgi family are rough as fuck, I was told by a Mitford.

I think they do a special offer bundle of toilet duck and the tea.

I just have to know if @AshleyC111 comes back and explains their, frankly ludicrous post!

No it isn’t, it’s like saying lads or blokes 🤨

I bet you a box of Yorkshire tea they don’t!

BeeCucumber · 06/03/2026 14:05

Can you please explain what “women” means to you?

BiologicalRobot · 06/03/2026 14:07

I don't get what the poll has to do with the question.

Are there manly teas too? I suppose builders tea and possibly Yorkshire tea might qualify but that would mean I'm a man 😱

Ginburee · 06/03/2026 14:07

I drink whatever the nearest lady tea is when the national tea bell goes off.

Now a bedroom teapot is very much my vibe! My mind immediately pictured a small vanity table with a teapot stand warmed by a tea light, a lovely big ceramic pot and my favourite mug just waiting for me when I go up at the end of the day. Now that’s my idea of lady tea, please.

I guess you think Gal's is gender neutral too then ?
It isn't, HTH

That’s exactly what I was thinking! It’s one of those phrases that is used like it’s gender neutral, but in certain circumstances is very much not neutral!

I always thought it was blathering. I love learning new words 😁
