Hi guys, looking for some recommendations on tea for women. What's your favourite flavour? What is your must-have one around the house?:)

OP posts:

Obviously I can only drink Lady grey tea with a slice of lemon from a bone china cup and saucer after its been brewed in a vintage teapot at 4pm in the conservatory whilst wearing a twin set, pearls, and a tweed skirt. A terribly nice girl from the village comes and does it for me.
I wasn't raised by wolves.

Perfidia · 06/03/2026 12:22

Please come back and explain exactly what you mean, @AshleyC111!

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 06/03/2026 12:25

Pink lady tea served in a dainty pink floral cup for our dainty hands. Don’t pour in too much as we women folk are too dainty to lift such a heavy thing. A pink lady apple slice on the side of the dainty saucer.

The packet doubles as a tampon.

Why are you addressing women as "guys"?
Do men and women drink different types of tea?

Hmm

'Guys' is gender-neutral. HTH.

MrsHaroldWilson · 06/03/2026 12:28

Mine must be served like this.

It isn't gender-neutral in my circles, but I'm pretty ancient and obviously out of touch. In any case, starting a very odd thread with "Hi Guys" just kicked the whole thing off on a jarring note to me.

Glitterbiscuits · 06/03/2026 12:41

Is this tea absorbed vaginally?

I hope that the village girl also brings you dainty cucumber sandwiches cut into triangles and some Mr kipping French fancy's

I don't drink tea at all but @AshleyC111 is there a lady coffee I should be drinking ?

I know let's ask mnhq , I bet they know which tea we should be drinking ?

SesameLeafChomper · 06/03/2026 13:11

When the tea caddy gets low the person making the tea, could be me, female, could be Dh or even one of the children, they restock the caddy. If the box of tea is then empty it is added to the shopping list in the kitchen.

Dh and I do a supermarket shop together and so if we are going to be picky, I am the one who compiles the list but everyone has input into meal planning as I have adult children.

Tea wise, we have Assam and Earl Grey all the time, I also like a spice chai too.

My sister says guys to me and Dh as in what are you guys doing next weekend? I am the only female in the house, it is neutral for me.

I really struggle with my identity, so at times I will drink lady tea, almost see through, weak, feeble, but with class and lots of flavour. Out of a teacup of course.

At other times, I need a real workmans tea, hard, very dark, brutal, takes the skin off your tongue. I drink that out of a cement encrusted bucket.

Notarealblonde · 06/03/2026 11:39

So if a man was to drink said tea, would he turn into a woman???

He would be ‘living as a woman’ so could have female put on his passport, apparently.

And no I’m not kidding.

Period tea.

Wipeywipey · 06/03/2026 13:23

I don't know about the rest of you but I personally have a different tea for every room. That must be why the OP asks which teas we have around the house. The most aromatic is, of course, for the loo.

Is it also manners neutral?

Mine always is. It's tradition.

BunnyLake · 06/03/2026 13:31

Is this AI generated? The title barely makes sense and reminds me of those Youtube AI generated thumbnail titles.

Only the type of tea you have in the loo! Never in the living room.

I've chuckled a lot today so I really hope OP will come back.

dailyconniptions · 06/03/2026 13:35

It depends very much on the water in your area. One tea doesn't work everywhere.

Kellbrander · 06/03/2026 13:36

hi, i really like lemon and ginger tea or my other fav is peppermint tea aswell

thetinsoldier · 06/03/2026 13:37

This sounds like some weird market research. Reported.
