I collected mine on Friday and we all (dc's & dh) have been adicted to it ever since we opened it yesterday. I think it's fab. Anyone else?

Yes. Have one, have no intention of using it. Dh bought it for me for my birthday despite me having no interest in it, other wii games, or computer games of any sort. He kept mentioning it to me beforehand and clearly my saying 'whatever you do please don't get me one of those for my birthday' was taken as bluffing.

Bah humbug!

Flame · 27/04/2008 13:22

Lapin has

TsarChasm · 27/04/2008 13:23

Yes! Got it yesterday. Dc on it now. I haven't had a go yet. I think the carpet will get worn out with all the jogging going on on it!

poppy34 · 27/04/2008 13:32

ours not delivered yet (although quite how much I can do on it at 8 months pregnant I don't know) -will have to stick to mariokarts.

florenceuk · 27/04/2008 13:42

DH bought one of these yesterday (as gift for DS who has been very ill in hospital) and it has got him jumping around, balancing and moving lots. So great buy for us!

TsarChasm · 27/04/2008 13:50

Oh hang on, argument has broken out already.

Tutter · 27/04/2008 13:51

i'm wondering if anywhere will have them in stock today

TheSlightestTeuch · 27/04/2008 13:54

so look, do you really think a lazy ass like me could 'get fit' using one?

I mean, I like the wii...but I did nearly have a coronary at the boxing

onlyjoking9329 · 27/04/2008 14:04

TST

-yes i reckon it could get you fit. it takes everything into account and gives you exercises at an appropriate level. one of the first tests it does is gets you to stand still and checks your centre of gravity could you manage that???

TsarChasm · 27/04/2008 14:53

Awww it tells you when you need to get a drink

foxythesnowfox · 27/04/2008 14:56

Onlyjoking - perhaps Muffin McClay will sell you hers?!

onlyjoking9329 · 27/04/2008 15:03

no rush for us to get one Ds has just had mariokart and smooth moves for his birthday.
will no doubt get one at some point.

scanner · 27/04/2008 15:16

I really do think it'll work for me, I'm a real exercisaphobe but have enjoyed the time I've spent on it so far. Aparently I've lost 4lb already!!!!

Apparently I am a Couch Potato when it comes to push ups, but the downside is that the nice looking male trainer told me off for not even being on the WiiFit board. Yes I was collapsed on the floor next to it.

And don't attempt any balance excerises with a toddler around. They will want to help you and climb aboard making you crash and burn on the ski jump.

Loving it though

MuffinMclay · 27/04/2008 19:44

I'd love to sell mine, but have decided that dh can keep it as his birthday present, albeit a few months early.

Our local Woolies had lots in stock yesterday.

PictureThis · 27/04/2008 19:47

Still waiting for mine...it's on order. I can't wait

I'm with buiscuits I'm another couch potato on those press ups, a bit embarassing as by 5 year old ds can do them. I love the sking and ski jumping ones and have unlocked a great balancing one where your in a bubble floating down a river.

bramblebooks · 27/04/2008 23:25

I love mine and am the house champion at ski jump and slalom!

BexieID · 28/04/2008 12:20

I only got a Wii at the weekend, but do want WiiFit, seeing as i'm only 3 stone short of the weight limit for it . I think i'll ask for it for xmas though or wait till Tesco have it back in stock as it's only £65 in there (plus I get staff discount). I'm seriously annoyed that I can't get Mario Kart, as i've waited until that game came out before I even contemplated getting a Wii .

HappyMummyOfOne · 28/04/2008 12:27

Picked one up yesterday, "banked" 20 minutes last night and was shattered lol. Loving the hula hooping and jogging, not yet tried the yoga.

I like how you can input your targets and hopefully it will encourage me to stick at it unlike the exercise dvds.

Not seen the ski jumping, so assume you have to unlock that one.

Volkl · 28/04/2008 12:29

I have one, its great. Although not so happy about my wii fitness age, 10 years older than i am! ha ha

Hilarious!

Loving the 'step' i can't help myself moving my arms like the mii's!
