what's the difference between the c4 picasso and the xsara picasso?

i need advice for my dad cos he needs to get a new motability car in march. these have been advised by people but i don't know what the difference is? i always thought the was just the picasso which had 5 seats and the grand picasso which had 7.

there's a c4 picasso and a c4 grand picasso though. the c4 picasso has 5 seats i assume, the grand picasso 7 and the xsara picasso 5 or 7?

The C4 is the 7-seater, isn't it? Xsara Picasso (original version) and non-Xsara Picasso have 5. (What hatrick said in fact )

Ah - sorry, na - ordinary C4 has 5, Grand C4 has 7

(not sure where non-C4 fits into that - maybe the C4 is the only kind now?)

Parkers doesn't say it's stopped though - it just gives "from 2000" for the Xsara Picasso, which is a bit confusing for us ordinary mortals.

It is a different car I think (dunno why they'd have 2 Picassos at once but it looks as if they do )

The Xsara Picasso is based on the Xsara (no longer made), and the C4 Picasso is based on the C4.

It isn't though, SMS - there are 2 Picassos - look at na's Citroen website link. They still make both.

My appologies....I assumed they had ditched hte (Xsara) Picasso.

They only ever send me letters (about once a month ) about the C4 Picasso & the Grand Picasso thing...
