what's the difference between the c4 picasso and the xsara picasso?

i need advice for my dad cos he needs to get a new motability car in march. these have been advised by people but i don't know what the difference is? i always thought the was just the picasso which had 5 seats and the grand picasso which had 7.

The Britax Fitfinder says some will fit, but more don't based on teh 3-4 I checked.

The 7 seater is just "C4 picasso" in teh list.
