But I want one that actually makes my clothes smell of something nice. And with a smell that stays for ages. Can anyone recommend?

do you mean own brand?

hellsbells76 · 30/12/2007 18:22

i'm loving the sainsburys 'winter warmth' one at the moment - makes your clothes smell all christmassy!

scorpio1 · 30/12/2007 18:23

I love the Lenor concentrate one, its purple (can't remember flavour and cannot be arsed to get up and go and look).

Maidamess · 30/12/2007 18:25

I love the Comfort Blue

emanon · 31/12/2007 12:59

I find you need to keep changing the 'flavour' that you use. If you use the same one all the time, you can no longer smell it. The Lenor pink ones are lovely.

pooka · 31/12/2007 13:01

I use the Lenor lavender sleep sensations one,

Desiderata · 31/12/2007 13:01

Another fan of Comfort Blue here. It's in a league of its own.

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/12/2007 13:01

yes, agree with cod - Bold 2 in 1 lavender is the nicest - no gungy liquid comditioner to add which bungs up your machine drawer

cazboldy · 31/12/2007 13:02

I agree with Cod. I also like the bold apple blossom and lime zest.

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/12/2007 13:03

yes,that's nice too

Seem to remember they do a summer one too...

Teaandcake · 01/01/2008 10:19

I love the yellow Lenor. Can always smell it ages after.

Tortington · 01/01/2008 10:21

i dont get fabric conditoner at all - i always thnk of peole who wear fleeces.

ALomonderfulLife · 01/01/2008 10:23

Lenor sleep sensations is lovely (that is the purple one) tesco do a huge bottle of concentrate and the pink one is nice. It's really good value too, lasts ages.

TooTicky · 01/01/2008 10:29

Try not using fabric conditioner for a while - it's really not necessary - and you will start to notice how other people's clothes/houses reek of chemicals. Seriously!
Oh, and they all test on animals too.

Maidamess · 01/01/2008 10:41

Sorry, tooticky, my clothes are like folded cardboard if I don't. Its not just for the smell that I use it.

If you use the 'Pure' variants they still condition but don't smell of anything much - most own brands do it and some do a 'concentrated' version as well which is economical and better ecologically too (now this is getting really yawny).
