WigWamBam · 15/10/2004 13:56

beansmum · 15/10/2004 14:03

i'd buy them, wouldn't be able to eat for a week but sure it would be worth it

Bunglie · 15/10/2004 14:07

£40 for wellies!!

Now I remember why I don't buy shoes....even if I needed them!

I use tesco carrier bags on my feet if it is rainng, but I guess that is a bit impractical here...but they are free

Bunglie · 15/10/2004 14:08

Is there a piccy of these boots you can show us in a link? I would love to see what you think is so lovely for 40 quid!

Catbert · 15/10/2004 14:15

I've seen lovely wellies (and matching bags - I ask you!) in Boden cat too - and some other posh catalogue I only window shop from... But Next also do v. nice wellies...

Does this mean posh wellies are the THING this year?

Frenchgirl · 15/10/2004 14:51

catbert it is a very important subject indeed. I recently started a thread asking whether to buy classic green ones or madly coloured and patterned ones. Consensus was patterned.

still haven't bought any.....

defo not spending £40 on them

BooMama · 15/10/2004 15:46

If they are Hunters and pink they may well be from their charity range so that's v.good!
I bought some pink wellies with pale green trim from Office for £29.99.

CountessDracula · 15/10/2004 16:09

WigWamBam · 15/10/2004 16:16

£45?????????
For a pair of wellies???????
Plastic wellies? For stopping the rain coming in????
Mmmmmmmmm - think I'll stick to my cheapies.
Told you I was a tight-wad.

Nimme · 15/10/2004 16:20

Love to have some. Tried some grey with pink spots from Aldo at £29. They were a little too narrow. Really fancy some but not willing to fork out £40+.

Any ideas for cheaper alternatives??

Bunglie · 15/10/2004 16:52

You could buy some Cheepo wellies and 'do them up yourself'

Just think...a whole new line of swaps!!

Kayleigh · 15/10/2004 18:27

Oh, I NEED pink wellies.... {drooool}

bottersnike · 15/10/2004 18:51

I have the pink welligogs ones with hearts on.
And I bought them two years ago before they were fashionable.

Kayleigh · 15/10/2004 18:58
