He was utterly gorgeous. This was about 11 years ago when I worked in the press office at VSO, which he was involved with.

He had that way of making you believe he really DID remember who you were, and had a bit of a soft spot for you. We walked into the ITN building and he said hello to the girl behind the reception desk and she just swooned.
