Running joke in our family is my home-made pinatas. I papier-mache over a large balloon, but am always worried I won't make it strong enough to hold the sweets, so I always add too many layers and then they are unbreakable, no matter HOW hard they are hit.

We had to take a knife to Spiderman one year, and smash the Red Power Ranger to the floor, before he would break. I could go on about the Bratz lips, the Barbie heart.......I just never learn.

I made a Finding Nemo pullina for DS' 3rd birthday party and still have it.

Used a box with lid and ribbons stuck to bottom, one ribbon released lid for treats. Stuck Nemo characters and crepe paper around box.
