Ours is cheap and crap, DD is nearly 14mths and getting heavy! We have two dogs and walk regularly so would like a decent carrier that is reasonably priced - any thoughts??

a bit old hat now, but we have a Bushbaby - a framed backpack type carrier which was very comfy and perfect for lugging DD over rough ground.
Have heard good reports about the New style ergos.

funnypeculiar · 13/04/2007 19:21

It felt incredibly uncomfortable, dd wriggled like a loon, I had real chest pain and back pain after just walking 5 mins to shop & back...
Granted, I may just not have adjusted it properly, but I was so determined to like it, I borrowed one again a couple of weeks later and STILL hated it. Gutted, but very glad I tried before buying...

My friend (ergo owner & big babywearer) said she reckoned I was too small for it. No offence implied to ergo lovers

Where do I get one of these new fangled things from?

OP posts:
monkeymonkeymoomoo · 13/04/2007 20:00

Just had a look online, aren't they a faff though? Getting a wriggling beast into it looks a bit difficult!?
