Following on from an earlier thread 'ELC-discount codes???' I thought it'll be good to share with everyone the codes i happen to have for various on-line shopping sites. I will also include the ones from the above mentioned thread.

La Redoute - £25 off + free P&P, no min. order value, CODE 1991

ELC - 10% off entire order, valid until 30 June 2004, CODE 24M

Vertbaudet - 20% off entire order, valid until 30 Sept 2004, CODE 6853

Ocado - £15 off first oreder over £75, CODE VOU7588427

Sainsbury's to You - £10 off first online order. I'm not using Sainsb. at present, but in the past I used similar codes for first orders with them although it was not my first time and they did work so hopefully taht still works. I have 2 different codes here:
D8RM-5K6E-NDVJ valid until 2 Aug 2004
24FA-DJ7R-E5VC valid until 30 Aug 2004

marthamoo - talking about pants - I ordered some sexy thongs from redoute a while ago - couldn't even get them over my thighs

bobs · 13/07/2004 02:31

Takes forever to get to the bottom of this thread!!
Nearly forgot - for cosmetics try www.buycosmetics.com - offering 1 item free at the moment but £3.49 p&p - mostly Pierre Balmain but also Clarins etc

lou33 · 13/07/2004 02:39

www.strawberrynet.com are v good for cut price csometics as well. Mac, clarins, bobbi brown, etc. Free delivery worldwide.

mummysurfer · 13/07/2004 12:42

my neighbour has just been over with a parcel left whilst we were away.
i thought i'd played safe with my order
1 pack of knickers for dd - they'll fit me!
another pack of knickers for dd - they'll fit in 12 months or if i tumble dry on HIGH
1 pair of PJs for dd who is 8, they'll fit when she's 14
2 pairs of PJs for ds - look just right.

The best news, total - £4.28

One more parcel to come. hopefully that will be Ok as it is a kingsize fitted sheet.

jema · 13/07/2004 13:31

after i think 3 weeks, + 1 delivery of full price & *p quality, i finally got a double delivery ( diff credit cards at same address) at 7.30 am.. tee hee, skips round kitchen in childish delight, faby cargo pants dh-60p, 2 shirts -65pea odd fitting t shirt, but ok for under jumper -20p,nice cardy, t shirt wrongly packed? plus something else i hadnt ordered that looks like it came out of lap dancing club!!, plus few items at full price.
my conclusion, if you've time & patience, to sift & send back stuff & deal with an organisation that clearly has poor despatch and computer system... you can have a bargain & have some fun!!

jema · 13/07/2004 13:34

meant to add, non of the goods arrived bore any corelation to the discount codes used over a period of 8 days, non had free delivery ? still fun at their expense

lemonice · 13/07/2004 14:10

I had a redoute catalogue in the post this morning offering 5.00 off if spending 25.00 and free delivery and something to do with suitcases. I threw it in the bin but I love this thread. It's been great fun and an education, i do hope these mail order companies are following it they couldn't pay to find this much out about their customers attitude towards them. These promotions seem bonkers. But great fun to share with everyone.

Branster · 13/07/2004 15:33

Discounted cosmetics and fragrance (all names, from Clinique to Adidas) Direct Cosmetics .
They have some good offers most times, some products are really cheap (i bought some Arden and Clarins stuff in the past very cheaply here).
Some of them are actually testers but it's a full size product for very little money.

My mum has given me a coupon sent to her by Tesco for online shopping. I don't shop online at Tesco so for anyone that does try XX-GJX8

It's for £10 off when you spend £50 or more.

Toothache · 13/07/2004 18:00

I was very happy with all the stuff I got from La Redoute! But then I didn't order any clothes. I think I will use them again.

lou33 · 13/07/2004 18:26

lilibet · 13/07/2004 19:05

tiamaria · 13/07/2004 20:06

Ellen23 - The ELC sale is now on. Have you ordered your items yet?

tiamaria · 13/07/2004 20:09

Another one happy with La Redoute here! I've just received my 3rd order. I've had bedding (2 sheets and a pillowcase), shorts for ds, skorts for dd, two polo shirts and a smart shirt for dh and the grand total was £11!

maxlily · 14/07/2004 02:19

So far from La Redoute:

2 nursing bras £1 each
One nice nightshirt (I had such horrid ones last time in hospital, think I borrowed from my mum!!)
£3
Short dressing gown £2
Yet to arrive huge pile of newborn stuff that looks great in catalogue for grand total of £12!
So thanks to whoever supplied those original codes you have got me £85 of free shopping. Mumsnet forever

assumpta · 14/07/2004 14:05

I have just tried two codes which on-line say are no longer valid. 1081 (30% off + free p&p) and 7973 (40% off).
Does anyone have any other codes which offer similar to the above. Thanks.

Just ordered a £24 outfit from La Redoute with a £25pound off voucher - will they do it do you think?

Grommit · 14/07/2004 22:44

I found some toys on the Asda web site which were priced incorrectly at 2p! I got very excited and loaded up my basket. Unfortunately when I got to the check out there was a notice that prices on-line as just a guide and goods are charged at store cost on delivery
