Following on from an earlier thread 'ELC-discount codes???' I thought it'll be good to share with everyone the codes i happen to have for various on-line shopping sites. I will also include the ones from the above mentioned thread.

La Redoute - £25 off + free P&P, no min. order value, CODE 1991

ELC - 10% off entire order, valid until 30 June 2004, CODE 24M

Vertbaudet - 20% off entire order, valid until 30 Sept 2004, CODE 6853

Ocado - £15 off first oreder over £75, CODE VOU7588427

Sainsbury's to You - £10 off first online order. I'm not using Sainsb. at present, but in the past I used similar codes for first orders with them although it was not my first time and they did work so hopefully taht still works. I have 2 different codes here:
D8RM-5K6E-NDVJ valid until 2 Aug 2004
24FA-DJ7R-E5VC valid until 30 Aug 2004

Also must mention that if you go to these sites via the link on mumsnet (if there is one) then they make some money to, I think.

Here are some more La Redoute codes if any ones wants them (of course you do!)

8074 - £30 off
5436 - £25 off

Make sure you place 2 seperate orders, so that way you can use both codes and still not have to pay hardly anything for them! You will have to pay £2.95 for the P+P but thats all.

Branster · 26/06/2004 01:03

kid you're a treasure!
yes, yes yes Flip. a nice lady from MN said that on an earlier thread about Tesco. So when you shop online from tesco open the browser from MN homepage and MN get £5! I just did mine like this today for the first time. ELC also have a link from here.

Sainbury have clamped down on the use of vouchers. If is says first order it will not let you use it if it is not your first order.

nutcracker · 26/06/2004 01:23

You know with the La redoute ones, do you have to spend a minimum amount ??? Or does the stuff you buy have to be full price as oppose to in the sale ???

Branster · 26/06/2004 01:26

Thanks for that MadameButterfly! So they're not that stupid after all! i did join a thread some time ago about grocery shopping online and i did say i was not impressed at all with Sainsb. to You service. Don't mind going in the shop, good quality products, but the online service was dreadful in my case.

Branster · 26/06/2004 01:27

well, on the ELC thread there was the 1991 code and you can buy anything (including sale stuff) and no min order value. i would think you'd need to oredr of at least £25 for the discount to work.

OP posts:
nutcracker · 26/06/2004 01:28

so if i order say 34 quids worth of stuff from La redoute and use the code for 30 quid off, i will only pay 4 quid plus the postage ???

Seems to good to be true

kid · 26/06/2004 01:30

nutcracker- I've read on another group that la redoute don't always let you use the discount code if buying sale items but some of the items I ordered were reduced and I still used the code which they accepted. There isn't any minimum order value but I'd use the whole £30 off!

Branster · 26/06/2004 01:31

hopefully! but i only know about the £25 off one 1991, because that's what it shows on the other thread. kid, can you help us here please?! i need to buy some stuff from them as well so it would be handy to know.

Branster · 26/06/2004 01:31

cheers kid

are these codes meant to be non-transferrable??

OP posts:
lindaUK · 26/06/2004 02:06

I used the 1991 code for La Redoute and ordered two prs of shoes from the sale which in total came to £20, got them today with the invoce showing total balance for payment £0.00.
Does anyone know if I can use the £30 code also as I would like to order more things from the company.

nutcracker · 26/06/2004 02:06

Right i just ordered 30.25 of stuff and used the 8074 code which was for 30 quid off. It did confirm the offer but the total was still 30.25, and then it said something about the discount being taken off after, but i've paid with my debit card so surely it will 30.25 plus postage.

Oh i don't know, am a bit worried now, as they haven't emiled me either.

nutcracker · 26/06/2004 02:07

It said that you could only use each code once, so if you haven't used that one then it should be fine.

nutcracker · 26/06/2004 02:08

Did you use debit/credit card Linda ???

lindaUK · 26/06/2004 02:16

I ussed my switch card to order, my daughter also used the code and the girls in her work used it as well and everyone of us recieved the items we ordered and the discount so good luck

Branster · 26/06/2004 02:18

so i did an order with the 1991 code, received email of confirmation but it does say code oredr is non transferable and you can only use one code once . it did acknowledge the orer code and that it means £25 off, but the total came to the full price of about £26 and the discount applies once they dispatch and then you get charged what you are due. however, if codes are non-transferrable and it works on something like postcodes or customer number, would they not realise we're using someoneelse's code and we get charged the full price after all? any ideas? i used credit card.

OP posts:
lindaUK · 26/06/2004 02:24

why not just open an account and then pay it when you get your order

nutcracker · 26/06/2004 02:28

i think it wouldn't of accepted the code if that were the case Branster, well i hope not anyway.

Oh well, will have to wait and see.

Branster · 26/06/2004 02:29

lindaUK, does your daughter have a different customer number for redoute or did she use yours?

OP posts:
Branster · 26/06/2004 02:31

yes nutcracker. i've just realised i ordered the wrong colour in one item. clever or what??!! so i placed another order withe corect item and i'll have to phone them tomorrow to cancel the first one. how stupid can i be?!!

OP posts:
lindaUK · 26/06/2004 03:21

Branster my daughter has her own customer number and she also used her husbands switch card to order a second time using the codes, as far as I know you need your own email address and bank details to order.
I have just ordered again using the 8074 code for the £30 discount, my order came to £37 and when I confirmed the order the total balance was for £7 I also received email with the conformation stating balance was for £7 so it works " happy day's " will use the £25 one tomorrow.

tentonnetess · 26/06/2004 04:13

There's one for boots.com for 1st time shoppers 20% off. The code is SMDJ48.

nutcracker · 26/06/2004 15:36

Oh that doesn't sound good for me Linda.
It did mention the discount on mine but balance was 31 and i haven't recieved an email telling me otherwise so it looks like it might not have worked.
