Following on from an earlier thread 'ELC-discount codes???' I thought it'll be good to share with everyone the codes i happen to have for various on-line shopping sites. I will also include the ones from the above mentioned thread.

La Redoute - £25 off + free P&P, no min. order value, CODE 1991

ELC - 10% off entire order, valid until 30 June 2004, CODE 24M

Vertbaudet - 20% off entire order, valid until 30 Sept 2004, CODE 6853

Ocado - £15 off first oreder over £75, CODE VOU7588427

Sainsbury's to You - £10 off first online order. I'm not using Sainsb. at present, but in the past I used similar codes for first orders with them although it was not my first time and they did work so hopefully taht still works. I have 2 different codes here:
D8RM-5K6E-NDVJ valid until 2 Aug 2004
24FA-DJ7R-E5VC valid until 30 Aug 2004

Third parcel arrived just now, mules for 35p, BARGAIN!

marthamoo · 07/07/2004 00:05

florenceuk, I had an email telling me about the Cotswold sale which was 25% off everything but it finished on Monday - don't think I've had anything else, sorry.

florenceuk · 07/07/2004 01:34

Thanks Marthamoo. B*gger, missed the sale.

bobs · 07/07/2004 02:01

Okay this might help some of you:- If you place more than one order on one day, all orders are clubbed together with just one of the codes applied. Then that discount is spread over all the items ordered.
EG if the code applied is £10 off and you order 10 items at £10 each, then £1 is taken off each item - clever eh?? (I learnt this earlier in the year to my cost but most of the stuff didn't fit and went back anyway)

kid · 07/07/2004 19:27

received another parcel today from la redoute. I got 2 pairs of pyjamas for DS for 78p and some denim shorts for ds for 78p as well. Another pair of shorts from the same order has been despatched and I have been charged 51p for them. I am just waiting for a pack of 2 shorts to be despatched to see how much I'll be charged for them. But I have to say, I am very pleased with the items already received! So pleased infact, I have just placed another order to be delivered to MIL's!

Gorgeous stuff for dd arrived today - well pleased and placed another order for the £25 discount!!

CountessDracula · 10/07/2004 20:31

well

my swimming costume was great but wrong colour (ordered plum got black) but am keeping

Linen trousers were the colour of poo and crap quality. Gave to nanny

Dd's jim jams were ok but very cheap and nasty looking.

Her dress was very odd, way too big in some places and small in others. Think with a bit of needlework it will be ok. Not greatest quality it has to be said

And my sandals are going to take 9 WEEKS TO ARRIVE!! Errr, excuse me, won't summer be over by then?

useless

never again

NottsMum · 10/07/2004 23:44

my DD's got a free pair of flip flops (to stop her from trying to break her neck because she keeps wearing mine even whilst walking down the stairs!) and DH has got a t-shirt arriving in a couple of weeks. Both for £0! Fantastic - but I agree with quality, the flip flops were most definitely not worth the full £6.50 but for a freebie, I have no complaints

BosworthBear · 11/07/2004 13:13

Does anyone have current ELC discount codes, the old ones seem to have come to an end?? I also tried the La redoute codes - admin dire, quality of clothes even worse - I hate to think how they cope with refunds . . .

Chuffed · 12/07/2004 12:49

vertbaudet - code 9045 gives free postage and a singalong cd player and some cd's.

cas73 · 12/07/2004 13:14

I hate la redoute!!!
My middle ordre arrived a while ago, and was fine, although not the best quality. THen I started checking my account, and both my other orders showed "with courrier for delivery" so I waited...and waited....until today I saw that my original order was returned!!! They didn't even try to deliver it!!

Basically, our courrier seems to be rubbish, as she failed to deliver an order to someone who doesn't work so is most of the time home (how difficult can that be?) AND I've contacted her on Sunday to arrange a collection and she is still not here!!! So annoying!!

On a good note though, the redoute customer services seem to be quite nice, as I phoned and asked to place a replacement order for two items that are now unavailable, and they assured me that they will apply the same order code as the original orders on them... Lets see...

marz · 12/07/2004 16:40

Vertbaudet.....
7973 for 40% off ALL spring summer catalogue items...happy shopping!

marthamoo · 12/07/2004 16:56

I liked my sandals. Dh likes his shirt (even though it cost £8 ) I also like my stripey linen trousers (even if they do look like pj's!)

But I have sent back.....

Patchwork bag: disgusting cheap tacky looking "market stall" thing.
Black top: shiny nylon, clingy, dead cheap looking.
Dress: as described further down on thread - bizarre shape, cheap clingy fabric. Really nasty.
Tote bag: described as useful everyday bag. Yes, if you emigrate abroad every day - was the size of a dustbin bag.
Jeans: despite being "long" were too short (and I am 5'7", hardly a giant)
Brown tunic top: nasty clingy satiny type fabric. Great if you like people to be able to see your tummy button through your clothes when you are NOT pregnant)
Skirt: made out of strange sack-like material. Odd A-line shape and too short.

So all in all, not a great success. I think their clothes are - for the most part - pants (and I am not meaning the sort of pants you wear!)

Note to self: If it seems too good to be true it probably is

And I am STILL waiting for part of my first order. And my refunds...

Heathcliffscathy · 12/07/2004 16:57

ok, so what are good catalogues? and has anyone got codes for them?

I ordered on the 24th and mine hasn't come yet. I phoned this morning and she said that it takes a week. I pointed out it had been nearly two weeks and she said it had been dispatched.

CountessThumpula · 12/07/2004 17:43

beety you will be disappointed I can guarantee it

Branster · 12/07/2004 18:18

well, i must be the only one pleased with my laredoute stuff. i bought from them before and i have an idea of what to expect and kids clothes are really nice (also buy a lot from vertbaudet too for dd). i'm still pleased with what i ordered and received and as decribed earlier it was not all free, but i wasn't sure it was going to be in the first place. i'll be using them again i have to say. as a rule, if it looks really fancy in the picture, in reality it will look bad and only the well fitted items (i.e. tight cotton tops and plain trousers etc)are a good buy, for me anyway. although the stuff from promod is much better i have to say.
