I am posting this thread because I have received the most amazing service you can imagine! I decided that for once instead of complaining about a product I will sing it's praises so here goes.

Whilst looking for something different for a christening gift I found this website. The service has been amazing and the quality is excellent. I have bought a name train for ds2 and also some bookends and a mobile.

I ordered the items at about midday yesterday and they arrived before midday today. I was stunned when the package arrived because I wasn't expecting it. There was even the facility to put an additional delivery instruction on like leave with neighbours if not in. I am really impressed and will definitly use them again. You really must take a look at this website just give your credit card to dh/dp first because I spent nearly £80.

Let me know what you think or if anyone else has bought anything from them.

Back in an hour, got some toys to buy!

CountessDracula · 20/04/2004 20:51

Excellent thanks, have added to my faves and will look at it when I need to buy a pressie for dd.

Davros · 20/04/2004 20:55

Wow, great site. Party bag toys look good, must remember in August!

charlieplus3 · 20/04/2004 20:57

Love the clocks

Kittypickle · 20/04/2004 20:57

I totally agree - DD's b'day is Jan 4th and I left it extremely late to get stuff for party bags. They got my parcel to me in about 2 days which was fantastic considering it was between Xmas & New Year. I will definitely use them again.

Flip · 20/04/2004 20:58

I think that these are the best.

er what "these" flip?

Flip · 20/04/2004 21:03

Sorry crap link. I meant the bookends. Have a look. They're solid wood and really excellent. I got the wizard and dragon ones for ds2.

I also want the bead table thats £160 but I think it would cost me more than that for the divorce if I bought it. I have two very spoilt children.

Have to agree Flip, just bought some bookends yesterday - but only live 1 mile from the shop so imagine how much damage I can do a credit card!

Flip · 20/04/2004 21:08

You lucky thing islandgirl. I'd never be out of there and I think the plastic would melt.

I might be cheeky and E-mail you if I only want a little thing. It might be cheaper for postage for you to send it.

Wow! There must be something on that site that magically sucks the money out of your bank account. I've just spent over £50, no problem.

Flip · 21/04/2004 09:09

I'm thinking about getting something else. Dh will kill me!

You think you guys have a problem spending money with these people - I live near their shop! (Actually I sometimes start to think I live in it ) If you're ever in the Warwickshire area then Hatton Country World (where their shop is) is a good family day out - farm park for the kids - with things like bouncy castles, trampolines, a small funfair, etc too at no extra charge and an outlet shopping village with lots of craft type shops. Not only Woolgars but they also have Lads and Lasses who do some nice, different, kids clothes too.

GillW · 21/04/2004 09:46

Islandgirl - you must live pretty close to me then. Anyone fancy a Hatton Country World mumsnet meetup (weekend preferably) sometime? If enough other people are interested we could probably get a group rate for the Farm Park bit too for anyone who isn't enough of a local to already have a season ticket.

melsy · 21/04/2004 09:51

Oh that looks lovely Gillw, great day out. Not sure how far it is from me in Enfield?? My mum loves those places, will have to tell her.

Sonnet · 21/04/2004 09:52

Fantastic...been looking for a wooden dolls cot/cradle for ages....at a reasonable price...

melsy · 21/04/2004 09:53

Especially if i can have the colour therapy at violet flame !!!right up my street!!

GillW · 21/04/2004 10:17

Melsy - it would be about 2 hours from you, but just about all motorway/dual carriageway. Hatton's only just off the M40 if you came that way (slightly further, but straight up the motorway so probably wouldn't take any longer), or a marginally shorter route would be via M1/M45/A46.

melsy · 21/04/2004 10:19

Thanks gillw, think that might be a good day out with dh , he can do long motorway drives. Would be lovely in the sunshine.

tiredemma · 21/04/2004 10:21

my ds1 aged nearly 4 loves hatton! we always have a great time when we are there.
highly recommended for a day out!

Jaybee · 21/04/2004 10:33

I have always loved Hatton Park - not been for a while though - if there is a meet up I would consider coming - it is about 40 minutes from me.

Justine (mumsnet) · 21/04/2004 10:34

Sounds like we should get them to be a discount partner, don't you think? We'll make contact and keep you posted.

OldieMum · 21/04/2004 13:55

I've just had a phone call from Woolgars (see below), whom I ordered from last night. They can't send two of the items immediately because they will be customized with dd's name, so would I like them to send the third item separately, straight away? What wonderful service.

islandgirl · 21/04/2004 14:01

Flip - feel free to contact me if you want anything collected and I can send it no problem. Might be there tomorrow if the rain continues as their indoor play barn is fab for two busy boys.

Justine (mumsnet) · 21/04/2004 17:00

Have contacted Woolgars and they are considering joining our scheme so hold on before you break the bank... might be able to save you a little cash. Will let you know soonest.
