I'm 5ft 6 36E (ish) I am 14 top (16 in some stupid crappy shops humpf due to juggers)
I am 10/12 bottoms...
Am I normal? LOL

Demented · 31/03/2004 14:42

Hey we could start a club!

TheCODERATOR · 02/04/2004 13:07

Kiwi how were your deliveries form the bra shops?

kiwisbird · 02/04/2004 13:20

just looking for the thread to tell you
dd vomited over the entire box so afte washing and drying I have
one very nice Triumph stretchy lace bra and knicks... amourette is the style, very cotton but pretty and the knickers (which horror of horrors I don't usually wear any of as I hate them) are really comfy
I also got a DKNY purple shorts and vest sleepwear thing... Very nice And thrilled that my juggers fit in a DKNY size M
A good day was had, aside from the vomit of course

Bagpuss30 · 02/04/2004 14:35

Glad your purchases worked out ok Kiwi. DH just rang from work to tell me that the Bravissimo shop in Manchester looked too woman orientated for him to go in at lunchtime so have pointed out website . I'm not sure exactly why he thought a shop selling bras wouldn't be woman orientated though. I'll probably just order some myself and save the hassle (although I won't have a nice surprise parcel like you did!).

Mum2Ela · 02/04/2004 15:03

Blimy! Just looked at this thread. Ignored it before as it was under 'products'. .thought I was missing something.

Can I join? Usually 32D but now 9 weeks PG and 34DD and growing FAST!!

WSM · 02/04/2004 15:07

Clayhead/Cod & Demented - I'm also a 5'7" 32E !!! Seems we're not such a rare breed after all

I do like LaSenza for pretty undies in decent sizes at reasonable prices, AND you can buy online

WSM · 02/04/2004 15:16

LaSenza D - F range

TheCODERATOR · 02/04/2004 20:08

kiwisbird · 02/04/2004 20:09

CAn't now Coddy my dd is not well enough to be transported anywhere other than to doctors..
Will be getting there one day very soon though, promise!

Clayhead · 15/04/2004 12:48

Coddy, bought one of those Next cross over tops you recommended way down in the thread somewhere and it's lovely thanks for the idea!

dh asked where I had found the top, don't usually go to NExt and I started to try and explain, 'Well, Coddy, someone I've never met in my life, recommended it on the Big Knockers thread..' but the look on his face told me I'd said to much already.

Thanks again

Codswallop · 15/04/2004 12:55

fantastic news
I know I lie to dh asn say that its someone else!
saw a womman in a black and white combo and she looked nice in it

what size are you C?

Codswallop · 15/04/2004 12:57

re. the strappy tops clay... what sort of build are you? do they not make your shoulders look beefy? (sorry to be blunt but I find strappy tops are no good for me nd I am a size 12!)

Codswallop · 15/04/2004 12:58

sorry clay have just read thread

your are a perfect size!

Metrobaby · 15/04/2004 15:01

Coddy - and others - I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to bravissimo. I made a visit to the Covent Garden store last week and they were FANTASTIC. I actually felt quite pampered, and the bras were great . I actually managed to get bras that fit properly, and came very close to matching Prufrocks - but not quite ! Once I stop bf I can't wait to try out the rest of the range. Thanks again !

Demented · 15/04/2004 15:30

Clayhead, I've just gone back through the thread and looked at Coddy's link, I've got one of those Next crossover tops in black. It's one of my favourites, very flattering. Good price too!

bluebear · 15/04/2004 16:01

What comes after F then? Just measured (partly because of this thread and partly because I'm down to two bfeeds a day now so can get new bras for return to work... was a 34E/F before baby, now am one size up from the F - is this an FF or a G?
Every diet I have ever been on has been an attempt to reduce the size of my ample chest
I'm only 5 foot and a 10-12 waist/hip so I look really silly.
Suppose I should be celebrating my curves with the rest of you

Clayhead · 15/04/2004 16:24

Bagpuss, I was in Bravissimo at dinner time on 2nd April, maybe it was me who put your dh off? If I'd have known I'd have dragged him in and pointed him towards some lovely bras (and maybe got arrested)

Bagpuss30 · 15/04/2004 16:50

LOL Clayhead, I think he was afraid that he might have got arrested had he gone in. He says he will take me soon though but we have to arrange mil to look after the kids. I am getting desperate now as I stopped bf nearly 8 months ago and have on the same size still (which I'm sure is not right). Was quite tempted by the website but think I need one of the so-called (by dh) scary shop ladies to help me out . Things were never this difficult pre-kids .

Codswallop · 15/04/2004 17:25

am going to order a top tooo
will be out uniform!

Demented · 15/04/2004 21:03

Woah, spooky, that will be three of us all 5' 7", 32E up top wearing crossover tops from Next!

Codswallop · 16/04/2004 19:02
