we had a mini prior to arrival of dd2 - they are cute and nippy but you couldn't get a proper booster seat in the back safely - had to buy mini own one ( very pricey) and pushchair in boot - mmm probably not and certainly no room for shopping. I once managed to get 3 waitrose bags into the boot......

How about one of those big smart cars that seats 4? Some friends of ours have just got one and they love it (I think Hula had one too you could ask her about it)

If you get a mini you risk being mistaken for a Foxtons agent!

What about a new Beetle?
