On holiday in Florida Keys last week, one of our party gets invited for tea at zillionaires row and goes to nursery suite to see new baby. They had a BABY WIPE WARMING MACHINE!!!!!! Cannot believe it - only in America. I looked everywhere for one to bring home to give to a friend of mine. Ay Caramba, it weren't like that in my day!!

Is it a real one?

Star, there's a kitsch children's 'T' shirt and bib stall at portobello market that sells a number of t shirts featuring guns,- lots of James Bond 007 imagery, mod-style targets and one of a gun toting baby with the phrase: 'babies fight back'. Along with the punk ones (pistols, clash etc)'I'm sure they are meant to be tongue in cheek, but, despite my love of kitsch, I still don't feel right about buying a blatently gun image t shirt for a tiny.

star, that is so funny, I've sent it to my old boss who used to run a shop called 'girl heaven' where they sold loads of hello kitty stuff.

Wow Star, you just made me look up a site with REAL guns on it! I really didn't think you meant the sort that fire real bullets...that's as bad as having Miffy traps or Basil Brush snares. Sometimes Google takes you places you just don't want to go, doesn't it!

Star - so the Hello Kitty gun was an unexpected bonus then. Now you can have a fully co-ordinated bedroom, what with duvet cover, pillow case ....and gun - just what every girl needs!

When i was young (20 years ago now !!) it was big. When I was 10 I had lots of hello kitty rubbers. She's been around for ages.
