Anyone got one of these? Are they any good. The time factor appealed to me

This thread is very old now, but we’ve recently updated our best George Foreman grill page with plenty of info to help you choose the right one for you. We hope it’s helpful.

I do! We were given one last Christmas as a present. It's great, quick and very easy to keep clean. Just wipe it down with a piece of kitchen roll after use. Easy peasy, better than having to tackle the grill in the oven anyway.
Things like steaks, chops, burgers bacon etc are done in about 5 minutes, no spitting, no funny smells cos you're burning last weeks fatty mank and it doesn't set the smoke alarm off willy nilly either. We leave ours out on the worktop all the time and use it at least 3 times a week, in fact I've just started to do toasted sandwiches in it as well.

The only thing I would say, the one we have is only just the right size to do enough for 2 peoples worth, So get the biggest one you can afford.

My sister and my mum have one of these and they sware my them. My BIL has one in Oz too - a huge one they use instead of a BBQ. Everyone who has one I know are so impressed. I think I might get one for my birthday off my parents in February.
