Are they ok - they want card details at registration. Just wondering whether they're reliable? Thanks

Yes absolutely brilliant - ordred a DVD for DH the Wednesday before Christmas - with 24-48hr delivery - didn't quite make it for Christmas (my fault) but it arrived promptly first postal day after.

lots of times. Briiliant service

charliecat · 24/01/2006 20:38

I ordered from them for the first time a few weeks ago. Ordered 2 things, 1 was wrong item, emailed, got personal response within 24 hours, sent item back as requested, replacement next day, correct item and postage refunded back to my credit card.
Impressed

Hulababy · 24/01/2006 20:38

Yes, we have used them lots. Most of my family have. They keep the credit card details (if you choose to) so you don't have to enter them every time you buy. Never had any problems with them at all and their service is normally fab IME (and that of my family). Much better than Amazon!

Millie1 · 24/01/2006 20:39

Brilliant - thanks for the feedback! Shall order now.

Same here - everyone in my family uses them - they are fab!!!!!

starlover · 24/01/2006 20:39

yes they're excellent!

hornbag · 24/01/2006 20:41

ditto -only positives here too

HRHQueenOfQuelNoel · 24/01/2006 20:42

I chose them over Amazon - despite Amazon being slightly cheaper. I'd prefer to pay a little bit more and know I'm getting a great service, than worry about whether I'm actually going to get the stuff.

Goldfish · 24/01/2006 20:42

They are brilliant. We have ordered from them for years, including ordering psp consoles for £180. My dss get nearly all of their games from here - much cheaper than the shops.

mummytosteven · 24/01/2006 20:42

my parents have, have found them very good.

Hulababy · 24/01/2006 20:44

Very true HRH. Amazon still owe me a £10 gift voucher - ordered in September aand never delivered, despite several e-mails. Argh! Will never use them again.

Millie1 · 24/01/2006 20:45

Thanks - just placed order.

Yes I've used them & had a faulty item replaced with no problems!

Aero · 24/01/2006 20:45

Yes - recommended here too.

BudaBabe · 24/01/2006 20:48

Hmmm- not good here I'm afraid!

Ordered a PLaystation game for DS for Xmas. Got an e-mail from them saying my card had been refused - knew exactly what the prob was - Hungary didn't exist on their list of countries - phoned them and sorted it. Was assured that game would be despatched within 24 hours.

Silly me never checked. Was having game sent to my parents in Dublin as figured it would get there quicker and they could bring. Never arrived. Checked web-site and card had been refused again - BUT - this time they didn't e-mail me!!!

So a bit peed off.

Obv in a minority though.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 24/01/2006 20:51

Perfectly safe x

Auntymandy · 24/01/2006 20:56

use them all the time..fantastic!

Clayhead · 24/01/2006 21:01

Use them for most presents I buy and love them.

Have had a couple of faulty things/damaged in post and they have sorted it straight away with no hassle.

NannyL · 25/01/2006 08:53

yes all the time!

to me they have been brilliant and all my bargains arrive within 48 hours!

Jbck · 25/01/2006 15:55

Had a bit of a problem with them in December & replacement item was still the wrong item. However they refunded my postage to return, my phone call costs &, either mistakenly or in the interest of customer service, actually refunded the price of the item which I kept. It was only £5.99 but it still made me feel better about them. Myself & DH had used them loads before & never had probs, so I think it was a fluke.

PiccadillyCircus · 25/01/2006 15:57

I have ordered from them and it was fine

twirlaround · 25/01/2006 16:11

they are fine

MarsOnLife · 25/01/2006 16:16

Fabulous! Also order from CD-Wow. I love the free postage cos it means I can order just one item rather than trying to save on costs.

I also compare the price between the 2 sites. I even manage to save a couple of quid by going between the two. Excellent service from both.

zippitippitoes · 25/01/2006 16:18

also worth checking sendit.com to compare prices
