Are they ok - they want card details at registration. Just wondering whether they're reliable? Thanks

Yes, they're good, would recommend them.

Can I recommend a website - www.avforums.com? For several reasons:

  1. They have a list of recommended DVD suppliers and which ones to avoid, on a forum, you can always ask someone if you can't find the answer
  2. They have a forum called "DVD bargains"
  3. They have other forums such as Sky+, mobile phone forum and all sorts of others, packed full of useful info to do with music/TVs/videos/DVDs etc

Been using them regularly for quite a few years now with no problems. One thing I really like is that if you order DVDs and CDs they tend to come one at a time, and thus fit through the letter box, as opposed to Amazon's whopping parcels that need to be collected most of the time.

MaryBS · 25/01/2006 16:40

Yes - that is good, I'd forgotten how irritating Amazon was like that....

Clayhead · 25/01/2006 16:43

Amazon's parcels are not only aften huge but we have had massive parcels with one DVD, one book and loads of those air bag things in...really irritating!

Janh recommended www.dvd.co.uk who I have used and teir service was as good as Play.

also very pleased with play.com & have found that as you don't have to pay postage they're quite a bit cheaper. (we don't live in uk so always have to pay postage with amazon - I think you can sometimes get free delivery withing uk with them?) Anyway, so far, so very good.

had lots of problems with amazon recently & I will not use them again. gits.
