Playmobil?
Felt tips and drawing pad?
story tapes?

MrsBoo · 15/01/2006 21:28

Bob the Bulder, Spiderman. Scooby Doo

LIZS · 15/01/2006 21:32

Basic Lego, Playmobil, Orchard games

NotQuiteCockney · 15/01/2006 21:45

The orchard games are very good. Other things that are big hits with our friends include:

  • those plastic knights from France
  • anything to do with knights, soldiers, battle, war
  • books about knights, soldiers, battle war. Also, captain pugwash, captain underpants, etc
  • anything to do with Star Wars

my almost 4 yr old nephew is just getting into board games.

MrsSpoon · 15/01/2006 21:58

My DS2, 3 1/2, loves little people (playmobil/happy land) and vehicles to put them in.

chipkid · 15/01/2006 22:04

spiderman, batman, power rangers, any other action hero you can think of!
there appears to be real currecy at school to have knowledge of these bloody action heros that you cannot fail with the 4 year old. His parents may feel differently!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IlanaK · 15/01/2006 22:23

My 4.5 yera old loves board games of any kind. And books always go down well too.

Depends on the boy. Ds likes books and story tapes and farm animals. Indifferent to action figures. But he is an odd bod.

collision · 15/01/2006 22:25

Playmobil, crafty things, dinosaurs, dressing up, lego, paint.

MrsSpoon · 15/01/2006 22:26

What's wrong with Bob? My DS1, aged 7 still like him!

colditz · 15/01/2006 22:27

train sets
cars
balls
little K-nex sets

K-Nex
Thunderbirds
Playmobil

MrsSpoon · 15/01/2006 22:28

The little kiddies' K'nex is fab, DS2 has been given two sets of this in the last few months, it's nice and chunky and easy for them to use.

My 4 yr old not into action figures at all. Mine would like lego (but not all are into this), playmobil, or books - always a safe option...

god where has it all gone wrong-my ds thinks bob is "babyish". If it doesn't have a weapon and the power to exterminate it is just plain dull!

MrsSpoon · 15/01/2006 22:30

Probably because he can't wrestle the remote off DS2 so hasn't managed to progress from CBeebies to CBBC.

chipkid · 15/01/2006 22:31

even his bloody lego gets shaped into some form of shooting device.

NotQuiteCockney · 15/01/2006 22:32

I would agree with the fishy one here. My DS1 thinks anything to do with Bob is for DS2 (who adores Bob and all his anthropomorphized machines).

alexsmum · 15/01/2006 22:32

power rangers. thomas
