I'm sorry but I have to rant about the lack of MITTENS in the shops

They all have gloves or these stupid steptoe fingerless ones with mitten bits over the top.

It takes bloody hours to get finger gloves on a small child! I WANT SOME MITTENS. And I don't want to pay £25 for a pair from Brora, I want cheapo mittens so it doesn't matter when she loses them

£1.99 from Woolworths, they do fleecey ones, how old is your dd as they seem to be sized 2-4 years but I bought my dd age 5 1/2 some and they are fine - oh and they're pink too!

Woolies have fleecy mittens for girls for £1.50 i think.

Enid, have you actually bought those? Because the only mittens I could find were 'magic' mittens and they were too small for ds2's hands.

i got some from primark last year they were 1.50 for 2 pairs, not sure if they have them this year though, will have to have a look as its going to be a cold one.

How about some ski type ones from a cheapo sports shop like 'Sports Soccer' there's one in Stockport moo if not in Macc.

I typed 'gloves' into the Vertbaudet search. Cam up with about 8/9 different options.

Got some lovely knitted ones in M&S last year, with a fleecy lining. He lost one of course.

Have looked in next, M&S, monsoon, woolies etc and nowt

Lovely 3 pce set from Boden, a bit pricey at £19 though . You do get a hat, scarf and mittens for that though.
