KINDLE COVERS - should we have one?

only got mine a week ago and its already damaged.
if its in my bag should it be proteced? what is the best nice slimline cool looking one?

I prefer to have mine protected, but I did think the £50+ for the official cover is a bit OTT, so looked on Ebay and I have got a lovely bright pink cover for about £14.

the neoprene ones are jolly etc but apparently smell and the kindle falls OUT

then there are some butch looking velcro ones

there are the dianne von furstenburg ones, of course

I have the official leather one, with light (handy in a powercut!). It folds all the way back so you can still use one-handed. But I'll grant you it's not slimline.

i've got a neoprene one with a sort of pillowcase type top and the kindle could never fall out.

also got a waterproof pouch for travelling/camping/bath...

I have this one in red, can use one handed and it can stand up by itself for when i am knitting :)
