Got a few bits from there last night.

I'm normally only buy from M&S, H&M or Next as I know their clothes last and wash well but I got a £10 off £20 shop discount code so I thought it may as well be spent. Also it' says you get a free kids computer thing with the Alphabet on (not sure how good that will be!)

So for £22.96 I got dd 2 pairs of culottes, 3 long sleeved tops, 2 pairs of tights and some of those beige Ugg boot copies! Not bad eh?

Oh and free p&p!

So someone please tell me the clothes are ok otherwise they'll all be going back.

agree with jmb1 about the sizes being small, I get a year bigger too.

Quality is good though, be warned you will now get at least one letter a week from them with 'offers' in and if they know your email, then about 3 a week!!

NomDePlume · 02/11/2005 14:16

Yeah, the offers are great but they do come in thick and fast !

The sizes are small

i like their stuff, but dont like the buttons at the backs of t shirts.

laughinglil · 02/11/2005 14:22

see isn't that strange stich because i like the buttons on the back of t-shirts. they look different... then again my dad always thinks i dress ds like a girl!

NomDePlume · 02/11/2005 14:23

I do wish they'd sort their labels out though. DD gets itchy and scratchy from the labels being in the back of the neck and often embroidered. I wish they'd do what Mothercare do and put the labels in the side seams.

bambi06 · 02/11/2005 14:47

i`ve bought loads of things and i love them ..they are good quality and ilike their cotton..it washes well plus i love theyre shoes as they are often a narrow fit which is ideal for my dd tiny feet

piffle · 02/11/2005 15:09

I'm about to put in a huge order as I have got 40% off... the one outfit I've got so far is really gorgeous and washes and dries really well...

ThomCat · 02/11/2005 15:17

I've got loads of stuff from there in the past, quality good imo and my DD bum shuffles. Still wearing some of last years winter stuff this winter. Never had a problem with them, I like their stuff.

julesgs · 02/11/2005 16:06

I've bought most of my girls' winter wardrobe from Vertbaudet - they've got some really lovely original looks toddlers - and am fortunate to have a very good courier so returns are a doddle. Agree, wait till you get the special offer codes and the sale stuff at up to 50% off is great. I bought a pair of Ugg boots for dd1 and she loves them. One word of warning, being French sizes come up small especially for the babies, dd2 at 8 months is wearing a lot of 12 months clothes. I just put everything in on a 40 wash and tend not to tumble dry as this does shrink them.

La Redoute also has some good clothes too.

I find the labels in Zara kids clothes annoying and always have to cut them out.

I never buy clothes(queen of hand me downs) but have just spend 80 quid with them getting 2 dds a whole winter wardrobe. All fine and washed so far.

ediemay · 03/11/2005 20:59

I love their soft velour sleepsuits - they fasten up at the back which is great if you've got a pyjama-shedder! Good vests and pants too.
