I'm wanting a Dora backpack and pyjamas for dd's birthday but I've only seen them to buy through mail order or on some websites.

Is there anywhere on the high street that has these things?

Woolworths, but they seem to be out of stock

SleepySuzy · 07/09/2005 10:15

They often have them at the carboot sale (new) near us, if you have no luck, I can have a look for you on sunday.

Nbg · 07/09/2005 10:16

Thanks

Will check out those 2 WMF.
Woolworths always seem to sell out of things quickly.

ToysRUs have a reasonable Dora range, too.

flamesparrow · 07/09/2005 10:17

Clarks have backpacks, and so do Adams...

Nbg · 07/09/2005 10:17

Thanks SS

I'll let you know how I get on when I start my mission, lol.

I've looked on Mothercares and ELC's website and I can't find the bag or pyjamas (I know I won't get the latter at ELC!)

Have Clarks definatley got the bags FS?

I think someone was selling the jamas on Ebay - brand new.

flamesparrow · 07/09/2005 10:31

I went in a few weeks ago and they did - I think they were proper Backpack ones, rather than a bag with Dora on it...

Enid · 07/09/2005 10:34

Tesco did the pyjamas at one time, dd2 has them

NomDePlume · 07/09/2005 10:35

They still do them at my local Tesco, Enid

SleepyJess · 07/09/2005 10:36

They have them in our Post Office! £6.99. And lunch bags.. same price. And breakfast sets, bowls etc. Same price again I think.

LIZS · 07/09/2005 10:45

Woolworths had the backpack and lunch box separately. From the website I think they may be getting pj's in soon.

Hulababy · 07/09/2005 10:48

I have seen Dora PJs in Mothercare and Woolworths, and the Dora lunch box in Woolworths. Our local stores had them all in this past week or two.

Nbg · 07/09/2005 10:49

Right so Tesco for PJ's and Clarks or Adams for bag.
I'll check out the PO too.

Thanks.

Skate · 07/09/2005 13:26

ANyone know where you can get Dora party stuff - plates, napkins etc??

serenity · 07/09/2005 13:28

We've got a Mothercare World and an ordinary Mothercare near us and only the 'World' one has the Dora stuff.

I'm going up there this afternoon to pick some stuff up (did loads of shopping, but left my storecard at home ) Do you want me to pick up some PJs for you if they've got them?

Loobie · 07/09/2005 16:35

Not to sure about party goods from the highstreet but i found this site which does all the charcters you can imagine and seems some really great stuff party

Nbg · 07/09/2005 16:39

NBG, there is a mothercare world at Parkgate (Rotherham)
Did you find anything?

Nbg · 07/09/2005 16:53

I haven't been yet GB. I'll be going at some point this month for a mammoth shop.

I forgot about the Rotherham one. I'm going that way tomorrow to visit dh's Grandma so I might pop in. I was thinking of Crown Point but Rotherham would be nearer. Thanks

How are you btw?
Are you coming to the Eastfield again in a couple of weeks?

OP posts:
gingerbear · 07/09/2005 17:16

Have you arranged another meet-up? Eastfield Arms was a good meet last tiem. Am meeting up with Hula and YG in Leeds on Friday.
We are good, except DD is having scary monster dreams at the mo Let me know if you find any DDDora stuff, DD also obsessive (We recently got Sky+, and 95% of the stuf recorded is off Nick Jnr!)
