Ok, I know you all love Henry but who has his big bro George?

He is the green one I think? Slightly different eyes and a bit chubbier than his younger brother ;)

Does anyone rate george?

oooh... SOB meant sob as in tears btw, not son of a.....

(thought I'd better point that out as it looked so bad re-reading it!!)

NomDePlume · 31/08/2005 13:34

PMSL @ Flamesparrow !!!!

MarsLady · 31/08/2005 13:35

serah I take your 8 month old and raise you 18month DTs lol

I dunno... SOB.... could be read both ways lol

marthamoo · 31/08/2005 13:48

Potty, I just don't like pull alongs, I've decided. I'm an upright kind of a gal. I don't like having to drag him round and he gets stuck in doorways and on furniture; he's dead messy to store in my understairs cupboard - all sprawly; and his hose won't reach all the way upstairs so I have to balance him on the turny-corner big stair to get to the top.

Sorry, all Henry lovers.

serah · 31/08/2005 13:48

Mars......

EEEEEEEEeeeekkkkk!!!

You win!

NomDePlume · 31/08/2005 13:53

I love this thread. It has really made me PMSL @ the little personalities you've assigned to your vacuum cleaners .

marthamoo · 31/08/2005 13:54

NdeP - it's funny, but you just can't refer to a Henry as an it. Even when I'm swearing at him I call him by name. Never anthropomorphised my Dyson.

NomDePlume · 31/08/2005 13:55

rofl

serah · 31/08/2005 14:01

Funnily enough NdP, I was wondering whether or not to comment on this myself - they are never "its".

Weird innit??

potty1 · 31/08/2005 14:21

lol mm, you don't like him but still don't call him an it. How polite

marthamoo · 31/08/2005 14:22

I can't stay mad at him for long when I look at his little smiley face

serah · 31/08/2005 14:39

lol marthamoo

I love my henry, even if he is all sprawly in the cupboard

serah · 31/08/2005 16:47

I can't imagine that being overly controllable Peckarollover! Are you sure its not a marketing ploy that doesn't hinder more than help?

flamesparrow · 31/08/2005 18:31

I'm impressed with the use of the word "anthropomorphised" (probably spelt right when it was written before )

Is it worrying that I automatically assume my dyson is a girl?

You with your blokey hoovers... when did a man ever clean up that much without whinging?

Marslady... Have you got the DTs trained to be little slaves yet? I'm starting to think a Henry would be good cos DD will be able to work it younger ... we've finally got her trained to bring food to us from the fridge now

flamesparrow · 31/08/2005 18:31

I am seriously considering little eye stickers for her now...

potty1 · 31/08/2005 18:54

You could cover her with one of these

serah · 31/08/2005 19:47

eeek Potty! These are only one up from crocheted toilet roll covers....

marthamoo · 31/08/2005 19:53

Oh that's the site with the scary doll children...

I thought anthropomorphised was rather good for a Wednesday too, flamesparrow

peckarollover · 05/09/2005 20:38

Update - I went for the Vax 3 in 1 Family Version and its FAB!!!!!!!

Sorry george, maybe next time
