I am in a new relationship with an amazing man, I am 50(F), he is 56. We have fabulous sex together, he is very energetic, athletic, passionate and giving. However, he doesn't cum through sex - usually it is not at all or only afterwards, through a hand job or a bj.
Any men out there who can shed light onto this?
He has mentioned he may have low testosterone.
It is not really a problem per se, but I would love him to cum through sex as he sometimes seems frustrated but it, and also enjoy the sensation of shared orgasm.

Yes that is all very interesting and of course true.

I've no idea why some of you are so touchy about wanking. We see it on here and relationships all the time, 'dp wanks while I'm in bed/the bathroom/at work is daily wanking normal?' and of course nothing is normal or abnormal it depends on a variety of factors such as if there is an an active sex life etc.

So yes, age medical problems all affect erections and performance <for want of a better word> but it is also true that once over 50 if you have a quick wank in the shower it will affect your ability to stay hard and ejaculate if you attempt sex soon after. So less solo wanking would be my tip tip <runs>.

There’s also a cumulative (no pun intended) effect so if he wanks twice a day for several days then it’s more difficult even a day afterwards where a younger man would have no such issue (no pun intended).

Yes but men get so uppity about it on here, 'it's a myth' apparently, even though we all know it isn't.

Wanking is great yes, it's also good for the prostate we are told but I think it comes as a shock for men that with age <and medical issues as helpfully listed by a pp > it isn't sustainable if they have an active sex life too.
