Pubes on men? Yay or nay

My husband has always kept his pubic area trim and tidy and has recently said he would like to start shaving it all off. I'm guessing plenty of men do this now but just wondering what female partners think and if it looks good like this?

I’m trimmed but no hair on balls. Wife said she’s always thought it was abit strange as previous exes of hers haven’t been well maintained. More of a personal preference though

BrianWankum · 18/08/2024 20:12

I like hair 😀

brunettemic · 24/08/2024 08:53

DH varies his, always trimmed but sometimes takes it all off. Ultimately he can do what he wants with his own body. As long as my nose isn’t tickled whilst I’m down there it’s fine 😂

Think it might be the modern thing for men to shave / remove them all, certainly this is the impression I get from most of the girls I know. My husband has had no hair down there for a good while now.

It definitely is the modern thing for men to remove all pubes 😁I go to a nudist swim and the proportion of men with no pubes is higher than the proportion of women. 70/30 for the men and about 505/50 for women.

NDerbys32 · 28/08/2024 13:36

I've been clean shaven for years now, my wife is too. We both enjoy the smooth look

RickyRoadddx · 28/08/2024 17:57

If you shave it all off it’ll have grown back as stubble 24 hours later. Really not a big deal.

Confusedscottishdad · 29/08/2024 21:44

So I take everything off when I go on holiday for comfort but normally I keep everything trim and tidy

I prefer trimmed for men but it’s up to them. I think no hair looks like a turkey LOL and a full on forest I find off putting. But at the end of the day their body their choice. I rock a full bush most of the time so it would be hypocritical of me to suggest a sexual partner to do the opposite

OpalGoose · 06/09/2024 13:23

DH and I have been smooth for many years, I can't remember what he looked like with pubes and hope he stays smooth for life.

MeAgainAndAgain · 07/09/2024 01:57

Prefer trimmed. I guess it’s like that for all hair, a trimmed beard vs a ZZTop beard. Trimmed hair vs Tarzan hair.

Although, I saw a photo of Jason Momoa in his younger days with trimmed hair, he looked ahh, not so good. Like someone in a boyband.

SoManyTshirts · 08/09/2024 09:11

I actively dislike shaved or stubble, although I support everyone’s right to make their own decisions. A light trim is nice.
A new partner who’d had laser hair removal wouldn’t make it past FWB with me.

OpalGoose · 09/10/2024 10:58

@JL690 where was that? DH and I went to one for the first time on Sunday and it was a similar pattern, though maybe 20/80 for women. I was one of the 20% who were smooth, DH one of the 70% smooth.

sounds like a male version of a landing strip, more of a parking space!

Like a "soul patch"

All ages, the majority appeared to be over 40 at a very rough guess. I was surprised too, I thought there would be more smooth women than men. DH was a wee bit apprehensive about maybe being the only smooth man but fits right in.

I tend to go all off as I find it more comfortable

ladymichelleZ · 14/10/2024 14:13

My husbands is all off, he says it is much more comfortable and he likes how it looks with no hair. I also much prefer the look and feel of it with no hair.

Hairy.

IcyLilacZebra · 16/10/2024 07:32

Prefer my dh with hair he hasn't ever trimmed or shaved personally I think it's sexier that way

It must be like the wild forest without even
a trim, even when I’m not bald down there it needs a tidy up

but it really is each to their own

It's actually not that bad I don't mind it at all
