The longest period with no sex?

Just that really.
When I was with my Partner of 15 years sex was avoided (by me) months went by and I didn't notice.
Since I've been single for the last four years the idea of not having sex or accessing sex scares me!
The longest I've gone without sex is 3/4 months.

Three years with ex-DH. We were just housemates by the end.

When he moved out I dated a little, slept with one chap a few times which gave me some confidence, then really threw myself into having some fun.

You go at whatever speed is right for you.

Quite a while... wouldn't like to guess.

My SD diminished due to his not so nice attitude toward me (gaslighter, constantly dumping me, very hot and cold)... I never felt like I wanted to be intimate with someone who made me cry so often ...

We're no longer together and my SD came back ...

at least 5.5yrs and counting. have been seperated from ex-H for 3.5years...

With the exception of a few spells in hospital, probably 2-3 weeks.

17 months and counting. There doesn't seem to be any likelihood that the situation will change any time soon. It makes me very sad as I am only in my 50's and don't feel ready to give up on my sex life. Like a PP, we have become housemates.

Genuinely interested, what makes you stay - 'cause my ex said it that if it didn't change he'd be gone (or words to that affect) and that was AFTER he had cheated.

It is a number of factors, predominantly my love for my children. They are adults but three still live at home and I know I would miss them terribly if I was stuck in a flat on my own. In time they will leave and I guess I will reassess the situation then.

From mid 2018 to early this year, so about 3 yrs or so.

Since I've been with my husband, about 5 days out of every month when I'm on my period. Single, about 6 months.

I was in a sexless relationship for 10 years...

Why did you stay?

1. Because I allowed it to happen over a number of years. It kinda crept up on me..
2. Because I didn't realise I was in a sexless marriage (which is apparently, PIV less than 6 times a year
3. Because I stupidly thought it would get better...

15 years..but then I turned16 and it all changed....

11 Years

5.5 years since full sex...a few virtual FWB and one hook up (but not the whole shebang) In the last year or so.

Over 3 years now - in a relationship but OH is very ill. Only in My 30s and miss it so much.

6-8 months.. honestly we both have low sex drives and we have two really young kids who don’t sleep well. We are exhausted & barely have time to eat a hot meal together, let alone sex 🤦🏼‍♀️

I do still love him with all my heart. We actually got married this year & finally did get chance to have a few days of sex! If we get the chance, we do. But right now, it’s not a priority in life & that’s OK with us. Sleep takes precedence! Fingers crossed life will be less knackering as the kids get older 🙏🏼

Been with partner for 11 years, one DC, 7 weeks ish is the longest, we used to have sex three or more times a week until we had our son a couple years ago so quite a change

It was almost 8 years until I met my partner 5 months ago. I’d happily resigned myself to never having sex again, as I’d never really enjoyed it much if I’m honest. But dp is incredible and my sex drive has returned more then I ever imagined it would!

5-6 years whilst with ex dear fiancé, he was out shagging all round him and I wasn't allowed so much as a toy.

I am single now and a lone parent with no childcare, so sadly I can now go months! At least now I can have a toy I suppose 😂
