Apologies for the rather crude topic but has anyone else noticed that men are more obssessed with squirting these days?

I guess tastes evolve over time. Back in the 70s a hairy growler was fine now it's expected to be neatly trimmed and waxed. Anal was the big thing in porn in the 80s and 90s. And now it seems like squirting is the next big frontier. And yes I think a lot of it is to do with porn. Maybe it's seen as more a female friendly thing with the metoo movements and equality?

I'm single and on OLD and I'm certainly no prude, I don't mind a bit of flirty chat. But honestly the number of times I've been asked about squirting is unreal.

I am no prude, there have been a fair number of people twixt my sheets, but l would not engage in such discussions at that stage.

I’d also question how much anyone presenting questions like this actually knows about women.

Agree, I think to many men it is seen as something kind of mysterious and something to brag about (as if they have unlocked some previously untapped feat and as if women haven't been making themselves squirt during masturbation for years!).

I do think the element of 'violence' / women literally out of control screaming with squirting is a big thing in porn, coupled with a new fascination for fisting / punching / gaping orifices. That's a bit unhealthy IMHO ...

Yes, I agree that the current obsession is porn induced. At the same time, the visceral aspect, the complete sexual release, of a woman squirting is exciting for a man - hopefully for the woman, all involved.

I never squirter before I met my husband and it kind of just happened one day we were not trying to make it happen. Now it happens frequently and we both enjoy it, but If you aren’t completely relaxed and turned on it will never happen. If I or my husband put too much pressure on it happening it never will.

No, it's not piss when genuine. I do think that in porn it is faked often though (either pee or just water via a douche etc).

@Wherearemymarbles I’m a squirter but I don’t have to squirt to orgasm or have a good time, although it’s much more of a physical release overall, but I would never think that about a bloke. Not all women can squirt, but I’m sure they have great orgasms. It’s great not to be always having to wash everything that’s for sure!

That’s fine, there are studies indicating both sides. I have been squirting for years, since I met my husband, and I can assure you it’s not pee! Even if it is so what. It feels great when it happens, and we both enjoy it and that’s all that matters!

According to research it's pissing majority of the time.

I've been on and off online dating for years and no-one has ever asked me about this, or any sex act.

The men have been told pissing ourselves is the height of female sexual excitement, so if they're good lovers they should get us to do it.

And I suppose a woman who can 'squirt' is seen as more enthusiastic/wild about sex.
